I've sell 60 4* champs toda, 65 left ....why I can't sell my 5* champs

My plan I will keep 25 4*max, and 15 good 5*
*Also have 5*s groot, rhino, magneto, kamala, iron patriot, juggy, shehulk, karnak, venomfool, ladywhor, oldman, colossus, and many 5* garbage
Dats why am ask here(kabam ) why I can't sell my 5*'s..
Plus if you keep them, you get shards, iso, gold on dupes. There's no point selling really, you'll just pull them again and regret selling
Duping them gives you ISO, shards & max sig crystal once they reach max sig level. That gives you even more shards for the next level crystal.
That said, how do bad champs hurt you by just sitting there and getting you free stuff?
