Mephisto thoughts and Morningstar questions

Man... I’m amazed at Mephisto’s synergy with Morningstar (Mephisto gets an extra soul every fight). I’ve been able to regenerate to 95% health twice per quest in Act 4. With my limited roster, he may actually be my best champ (I have 4* Rank 3 Ghost Rider, Iceman, and Crossbones too but I’m just really impressed with that guaranteed almost full health regeneration from Mephisto).

As for Morningstar, I’m having a lot difficulty fighting with her. Her movements feel extremely awkward and I can’t really win 4 fights in a row with her.

So, a couple questions:

1. Does Morningstar have a regeneration? If so, how can I trigger it?
2. Does Morningstar’s Special 2 kill bosses with multiple buffs just as effectively when she has no souls as compared to when she has multiple souls? If so, I may just use her as a boss killer and for her Mephisto synergy.

    MS gets life steal after accumulating enough persistent charges, iirc. She's supposed to be a beast once you get those charges maxed.

    And Meph is great for questing. I use mine all the time.

    1. Each time you use your SP3 in a fight, you can gain 1 soul, and after you have 5 souls, Morningstar has a 20% to life steal the opponent for 50% of damage done. The regen isn't god tier but it still helps. Additionally, if duped, Morningstar can copy regen buffs from opponents while making theirs weaker, but that requires the opponent to trigger a regen buff.
    2. Morningstar's SP2 is only reliant on how many buffs the opponent has, not souls, so if you have no souls, maybe push it to the SP3 to gain a soul for the next fight. The SP1 is the only one that requires souls to do more damage

    When morningstar has 5 souls, you'll take almost no damage at all, as your perfect block chance will increase greatly, along with lifesteal.

    If you are going to use her in quests as a boss killer, do some fights to gather as many souls as you can without losing too much health.

    Try launching sp3 when you are confident it will k.o the opponent, as that is a guaranteed soul. If you don't, a counter will appear, and you'll have to reach 100 on to get the soul.

    For non-buff bosses, spam sp1 with 4/5 souls to get rid of health fast.

    Thanks guys - I know that Special 2 is awesome, I just got to get familiar with her fighting style.
