Luke cage indestructable not activating on first hit

When playing Luke cage it activates fine. But as an opponent it’s not activating on the first hit. The scenario is:
Start a fight with a Parry and the first strike it doesn’t activate, second hit it does. Can’t say for certain if it works normally if he hits you first...?

Anyone else noticing this?

    He only activates indestructable after the first hit if he's duped.

    Edit: Nevermind. Didn't read that it activates on second hit. So are you saying on their first strike and you parry that strike it doesn't activate it? If so, then it has to be a non-blocked/parried strike to activate it

    No, disregard the parry that’s just to set the scene :-)

    Talking about the first hit he takes AFTER the Perry

    Try parrying, then doing one hit, then dodge back.

    What you're seeing may be that your second hit comes in so fast after the first, it looks like indestructible triggers only on that hit.

    No, it registers the damage of the first hit
