Should Labs have Better Rewards? [edited by Mod for clarity]

So far ive just done 4 runs of lab 4 got 4 crystals and pulled 2k t4b from each one, which tbh i really dont need cause i can easily purchase 18k from the glory store, please remove this from the lab 4 crystal or increase the amount as it really isnt needed in there, how is it fair that we go through and do 12 fights all over 20k pi with some tricky nodes on, only to pull 4k t4b i dont see the worth in effort and i know it's based on rng and thats probably the most worthless thing out of the whole crystal that i could get.. i dont disagree with putting t4b im there by why such a measly amount why not 10k 15k and 20k cause as i said u can easily buy 18k from the glory store for a couple hundred glory, please buff or remove this amount as it really isnt worth the effort cause of u do 60 runs of lab 4 over the month and only get t4b (one a million i know but some poor soul will) thats only thats 80k t4b which is just under three t4b cats which does simply not seem worth the effort of that challenge that it comes with..

Because when it was MODOK labs we were guaranteed upon completion at the same difficulty:
We could do that 3x a day and that was 10 months ago. Why are the rewards getting worse?
How do you know they got worse? This is the tier 4 crystal drop table:
Tier 4 Lab Crystal
200x 5-Star Shards
800x 5-Star Shards
2000x 5-Star Shards
2000x Tier 4 Basic Fragments
5000x Tier 4 Basic Fragments
10000x Tier 4 Basic Fragments
400x Tier 2 Alpha Fragments
800x Tier 2 Alpha Fragments
5000x Tier 2 Alpha Fragments
1500x Tier 4 Class Catalyst Fragments
3600x Tier 4 Class Catalyst Fragments
7200x Tier 4 Class Catalyst Fragments
Without knowing the odds of each drop, how do you know it got worse?
That's my point as well. All I have received are 250 5* shards at Epic and 1200 T2A shards at Expert. That's after 4 runs through.
Well, personally I keep getting the 400 tier 2 frags. I would prefer the 5* shards. I would rather have set rewards that are ok, than this RNG stuff. The old way you got a little bit of everything and it really added up. In my opinion a certainty is better than this system. Obviously I would feel differently if I was opening 2000 5* shards every time. But I'm not. I would rather know what I'm getting like it used to be.
That's a preference, and I can understand it. But I don't think it is fair to characterize the rewards as getting worse. It is fair to say it is worse for you, but asking why they are getting worse implies there was a deliberate decision to make them worse for everyone.
I feel like we are still not addressing the fact that, with this system there will inevitably be some folks who ended up scoring below average with their crystal luck. Which means that those folks will have in fact received "worse" rewards than offered in previous, similar events. Again, I agree that some will score equal to previous events or even greater than. This does nothing for the ones mentioned above. Am I missing something?
I don't think you're missing anything per se, but you're evaluating the random reward based on the worst case scenario. That's your prerogative, but wondering aloud why the worst case scenario is getting worse fails to acknowledge that that way of evaluating the reward isn't the only way to do so, or the most reasonable way to do so. The obvious answer to that question is: the designer didn't think the reward was worse, because they are using the standard way of evaluating the value of a random reward. Even if you disagree with that method of valuing the crystal, it should still be obvious enough to project onto the designer of the rewards.
But to respond directly, the reason we are not addressing the fact that some people will get less rewards than in the previous event is because that is, in fact, a fact, and one that has no controversy to debate. It is absolutely a fact that in the current crystal, some people will get less than MODOK, some will get more, and whether the reward has actually gotten lower depends on the drop odds of those situations, as I and probably most people would judge reward value.
Don’t know what to say but why always trying to giving you the minimum. What is the drop rate?
