Champion Tags Explanation

Perhaps I''m just the dumbest, I can accept that, but can someone please explain to me what the champion tags mean? I've found a lot of places that list them out but what do they mean? For example, Guillotine, shes Control: Counter...what does that mean? Is she best suited for attacking right after a block?

Or Defensive: Utility.....I get the size tags and team tags, i'm fine on those. I just don't get the other ones.

Also does Size XL have a benefit over Size L?

Sizes were important during the wasp challenge.

Tags as Control is basically utility.

Also rhinos unblockable charge doesnt work against XL champs, there are little thing scattered around. And as for control denial and stuff like that its what those champs core attributes do. So she has a heal reverse so she is suited for denying heals and stuff like that

    Here’s basically what they mean
Offensive: Burst- does a lot of damage fast like Storm

Offensive: Raw Damage: someone who just pounds people to the ground like CB

Offensive: Damage over Time: either a ramp up champion like SL or someone with lots of DoT debuffs like AA

Defensive: Utility is anyone who doesn’t do a whole of damage but has a bunch of utility like Void or Yondu

Defensive: Tank is basically a beefy champion who can take some hits like KG or the old Venom (they haven’t changed his tags since the buff)

Control: Denial is “denying” your enemy some game mechanic, like power or regen or even buffs active, like Magik or Vision

I think there is one or two more, but that’s basically what it is. Tons of champs fit into multiple categories but it basically gives you a quick guess at the type of champ a character is
