AW Tier 6 now considered Challenger AND having new nodes?

Earlier today, my alliance was tier 6, which is the hard difficultly. Once matchmaking went live after the delay, I went and started it up for 3 groups. After finding a match, I noticed we’re still (of course) in tier 6, but now it’s labeled as Challenger, AND the two new global buffs (bleed immune and Amped Up) are showing up in the map? To the mods: Any particular reason why this is happening?

    Its only tiers 1-5. Says it in the announcement.

    Yes I know that, which is why I’m wondering why it’s showing up for us since we’re tier 6 (aka it’s bugged):

    Its probably because you matched up with an opponent who's in tier 5

    This should be enough reason for Kabam to fix the mismatched tier multiplier bug

    Oh agreed, that seems to be the most logical explanation here. And honestly we tend to bounce between tiers 4 and 5 usually so it’s not like we’re not going to have to deal with these nodes. Just seems like this should be communicated with everyone out there that even though you’re not in tiers 1-5, if you get matched with someone that is you WILL have to deal with these nodes too. Which is a whole other conversation...

    If you match with a tier 5 alliance, its supposedly a coin flip which map you use. If there are other nodes that are different, its just that they chose their map to use for this war.
