Is there any substantial good new content coming?

The Symbioid level is creative but only 18 paths long.
Nothing engaging about new AQ/AW seasons. 5* and 6* shards come too slowly for roster development to be much fun. Act 5 was a year ago.
Seems like the pace of retirements is cranking up with MCOC not being entertaining enough for the commitment.
Is something good coming? It’s not worth waiting much longer.

Yea. For now. What do you expect? 10 different things? This is kabam they trickle feed us stuff slowly to keep us around.
AQ for 5 days
AW 3 per week
EQ 6 dificulties to finish in a month
Dungeons every 3 days
Labs 2x per day
Catalyst and Hero arenas running all the time
I still gotta do 2 more paths of Labyrinth
But a lot of players didnt even finish RTTL, ROL or Act5 yet
So.. get a life bro. Act 6 is coming, chill out
And yet.. here you are...
We're always looking into new ways to keep The Contest entertaining, and while this isn't always an easy task, we find that reviewing everyone's feedback and suggestions in these Forums is especially helpful when we're trying to make decisions about new content.
To help make this discussion as constructive as possible, I'd really appreciate everyone taking the time to share any suggestions you may have for future Events and why you feel your idea/s would help to make the game better.
I can't promise that any of the suggestions put forward in this thread will be implemented in a future update. However, as I already mentioned, we do appreciate everyone's feedback and more often than not, we have gained inspiration for Events from the feedback provided by players.
I'll keep an eye on this discussion and hopefully, you can all come up with some amazing ideas!
But Act 6 is a big development. Probably the most anticipated content ever planned. If you're not excited for that in the game, then I'll go back to my very first statement - give it up, find a new game to play.
IMO - These last two-three months have been extremely fun in terms of content. I for one enjoy Dungeons (I know they are not everyone's favorite but I like the challenge), I like occult labs for the same reason, the symbiote difficulty was an A+, Gwen Pool goes to the movies, while it felt tedious to get through, was a great way to earn rewards, the danger rooms were a nice touch as well.
Also, it's the end of the month, you may have completed all the in game content and so boredom is now settling in.
But I would like to see a boss rush happen soon, or another celebrity challenge.
Next time you roll out a celebrity challenge, please add an Uncollected/Epic difficulty.
If I'm not mistaken, the first celebrity challenge was the Coulson event and it was just as you described...EXTREMELY difficult. At the time, only a very small percentage of the player base was able to finish it 100%...I'd have to guess that less than 10% of the player base cleared it 100%.
Since that time, the difficulty hasn't scaled up much while our rosters have gotten significantly stronger. Now people aren't bragging about completing it...they're speedrunning it, which should tell you that the content is not as difficult as it once was. Additionally, the last few celebrity challenges have had top prizes that were definitely geared more for mid-tier players, leaving end-game players underwhelmed.
You can still have all the difficulties you've had before and the rewards associated with them so all player levels can participate, but add a higher difficulty level with rewards geared toward end-game players (6* shards, t5a fragments, t2a fragments) to keep the most advanced players engaged. And given that the top rewards in the game are on the line, don't be bashful with the difficulty. Make it VERY challenging. And just to be clear: Gauntlet Thanos fight = fun, engaging, and challenging. Ice Phoenix (massive unavoidable damage) = not fun, creative, or engaging.
I posted this discussion in the suggestions thread. Basically it would be a way to have a tournament style gamemode in which all players could compete on a level playing field for great rewards. The idea is to try to find the most skilled players in the contest without money and time being the main factor.

Yay request for more difficult content when they aren't able to keep current content bug free and fresh.eq, aw and aq are all getting stale(totally agreed with op) and dungeons aren't even worth playing along with stupid occult labs where difficulty isn't even scaled up with rewards.
I did enjoy the boss fights from the symbiote difficulty and even went back to fight some without using the symbiote to see if they can be done.
Example: Used Medusa for the Vision fight with Heimdall synergy. I took the sp3, servived then dodged back to gain back 15% health. I was able to put an armor shatter on Vision then it was over. Things like that intertwine skill with strategy and make it more challenging.
So you never really got to play with the champ you liked and end up collecting so many champs but keep using only those few that initially got r4 or r5
This leads to boredom and retirement
If I can't use a new champ quickly enough, when that specific champ along with my skill set is needed to clear specific content, what reason is there for me to keep playing this game?
If I enjoy I might spend...but deliberately making progression soo slow just so that people buy your Rank up packages is bad business and marketing
Clearly this model isn't working and you need to reconsider your business strategy kabam
For ex ...10 t2a Is simply not acceptable to r5 a 5* and to top it off you give 33% of a single t2a per month
No wonder why soo many people are leaving and recruiting is harder than ever
