App Always Opens in Alliance Chat Tab

Anyone have this issue where they open the MCOC app and it immediately goes to the chat tab? It all started when I got my new iphone Xs a couple days ago. If the game is running in the background, and I hit the app icon, it opens the game but immediately goes to the alliance chat screen. I'm sure I'm not pressing anything.

    I’m having the same issue. Just got the iPhone XS today and almost every time I switch out of the app and then come back it switches to the chat.
