Rank up gem issue not fully addressed

To the moderators or anyone that works at Kabam.
You are closing threads with the explanation that it has been fully addressed. That is not the case!
Some people did not use the 2015 gem when it was bugged and now do not have the advantage. Some people spent and were just short of finishing in time before the fix. Why not allow them to rank anyone?
Many of us have asked why they don’t make them generic for the rest of those who complete the mission. Why not allow one or all of them to work generically? This wouldn’t require any rank downs that you claim are so difficult. I think that’s a fine conclusion but why not even out the mistake by enhancing the reward for everyone for fairness?
What we are missing is the explanation as to why the solution posted is deemed fair. We request the transparency and fairness that you say the community is supposed to get.
