Creating a new alliance

Hi everyone!
I'm leader of a laid back alliance but is more relax than it should be, a couple seasons we were gold 1 in war now we are silver 3, If I start a new alliance with the ten active members that we are, for being a new alliance would it be easier to find for players looking for an alliance, also would it help to go up faster in AQ and AW tiers? THANKS!
