**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Who said it’s a bug? The node says it’s removable if you intercept.

CAIW removes active buffs, not passives
  • Hey there, as some have mentioned, Captain America (Infinity War) is able to Nullify Unstoppable Buffs, but Unstoppable Passive Effects can't be Nullfified.

Does passive unstoppable and active unstoppable really have a difference other than how it’s triggered?

I mean isn’t “unstoppable”, “unstoppable”.....does one last longer?.....trigger more often?......what’s the real difference of the “unstoppable” part?

One is Active like what Juggernaut gets at the beginning of a fight. The other is passive like what The Thing gets after 15 stacks. Passive abilities can't be nullified or cancelled out in any way as a way to make it more difficult to play against.

I understand how they are triggered but they basically work to the same outcome which is make the character “unstoppable”. A bit cheap, but there none the less.

It also deppends on the cause of the activation of it. In Korg's case, it wouldn't be very well controlled and it could result in a non-fun battle in scenarios where that ability would actually hurt you. Specially when they don't want a character to have buffs, and instead give them these passive abilities to overcome these scenarios.
These passive abilities exist in the game for many years now. You can also find these unstoppables in Labyrinth (enrage) and Ghulk smash ability, for example

The difference between passive and active is also seen with things like regen.

OG Deadpool has a passive regeneration based on his power level. It can't be nullified. Same with Willpower.

    Wolverine has active regen.
