War Defence Synergy, what is Kabam official stance?

@Kabam Miike I realize it's been debated beyond belief in playerbase, but I'm MUCH more interested in the official stance on this from Kabam. It's clear some synergy teams work on defence, some do not. Some champs have active synergy, some do not. Some nodes exploit individual synergy, some do not.

If a synergy is currently active in War defence, is it a bug or not? Example: Medusa gain 6 fury on boss node.

Appreciate your response to clarify Kabam rep.

    They have said multiple times that it doesn’t work and they don’t have a time table for implementing the synergies. Use the search function of the forums

    That response was from May, there has been game updates since then.....is that still the official Kabam response as of today? How many months is acceptable for you to hear back from Kabam @John757

    If they dont plan on bringing them in, they really need to replace synergies made solely for defence. No point in having the antman/doc oc synergy for example for antman, because its useless on attack.

    I agree. Should we or should we not build defence team around team synergy?.....only works sometimes on some nodes is a very unusual state we are currently in

    There was an update recently just forget who said it, they still have no intention of bringing them back anytime soon maybe not the all

    @Darkstar4387 why would we be fighting Medusa with 6 fury active on boss during current war? Is it a game bug still? Or is this the new acceptable norm? More curious what Kabam has to say....how many seasons will go by before this is looked into? Yes? Or No? To defender synergy?

    It hasn't worked since December 2017 so you're in it for the so long haul, also some don't want them at all and as for their most recent comments about it here

    We are still actively looking into this, everyone. We understand it's been a bit since we gave an update on the matter, but this is not a simple or easy fix.

    We're trying to work in a way to display what Synergies are active so it doesn't come as a surprise when you're fighting that champion.

    In turn to this, there's still varying thoughts on it and therefore it's been important to us that we also take all of those into consideration.

    We don't have a set timeframe for this, but rest assured knowing it is thoroughly being looked into.

    As for the rest of it node placement, mastery, etc is probably the cause of that

    Did you read the node? And do you have pictures? Some nodes allow for Medusa to get extra furies. Don’t plan your defense around synergies

    @John757 boss node does not include bonus fury synergy. Again, I'm not interested in restarting this debate within the playerbase. Much more curious the status from Kabam. You've made it clear your opinion is you are fine waiting an infinite amount of time for this to be established from game development. Yes or no to active defence synergy is all I'm after.

    I knew it was recently just couldn't remember who said it exactly, plus the search feature kinda sucks. Wasn't to hard to find though but had to go back like 20-21 pages will bookmark it because I am sure it will get asked a million times

    Without proof then there’s no way to tell if it actually happen. And it’s not my opinion, darkstar literallu gave you their most recent update and the answer is NO they don’t work and don’t plan on them working

    What is the answer? How many war seasons do they anticipate it may take to fix the issue if synergy are not supposed to be active?

    You can’t just demand an official answer from a Kabam moderator. That’s not how, well, anything works. They may or may not chime in. You’ve already been given their answer from numerous other threads. That’s it. You can stop now.

    So the answer your comfortable with from Kabam is this may or may never be fixed.....its not a new topic to them or you....is this still being worked on to fix? Or not?

    I know medusa used to have a big where her furies wouldn't all go away after living strands activates but that was fixed.

    They've been broken since before or around December 2017, not sure when you started playing but I've had them trigger against me like dorm and mordos which wasn't to bad but still I do remember that .

    Then at some point I noticed that they just didn't work anymore and looked for an answer though it took quite awhile before they officially responded.

    One of their first responses were in this thread and then they said over the subsquent months that they were investigating it and actually had a fix in place but ultimately abandoned it only to give the same answer since then.

    Throughout that thread and others they admitted that it was broken and that a fix was coming but that never happened
    after abandoning multiple times.

    I could give you more links but again they did work prior to the end of 2017 and they have not worked in a long time since then

    Op they have been broken since before seasons and well I expect them to be broken for many more to come if they ever get fixed at all
