Intentional War Throwing

My alliance is facing another in the war preseason who is intentionally losing, theoretically to face easier opposition when the season starts. To me this is an insult to the game and a form of exploitation.

I don’t mind the free winning loot, but it just screams poor sportsmanship to me.

Curious what other people think?

    How do you figure it’s “poor sportsmanship”? This is the optimal way to AW in the off-season. You don’t get anything substantial from going all out and winning and you place yourself in an advantageous position for when it counts by losing. It’s not like they tricked you or forced you to place your top champs or something.

    Rewards for winning during off season are usually better then making it 1 tier higher due to throwing matches so let em
