Corvus Glaive awakening...

So recently I pulled a 5 star Corvus glaive, and haven't seen much of him, or played him before. So I don't know of I should awamen him or not.

    Nah he doesnt need to be awakened. His sig is meh

    I have mine at 5/65 and duped. his sig is most definitely not useless and meh. He can save you a death in war which can make all the difference in winning or losing. you can chain together fights at 1% health during quests (i.e cap marvels challenge)
    DOT like bane, starburst have no effect on you when the sig kicks in.

    I have him awakened and it isn't game changing so it is ok if you cant dupe him

    i mean the sigs kinda useful...? I don't know, depends on your playstyle. it didn't really change much for me.

    Fair enough. I just never bother because I don’t like playing at 1 health. It’s pretty situational though, so I’d still say don’t bother awakening him unless you’re planning on constantly reviving him at low health. Then again, it can save you if you’re about to die, but it only works against DoT and basic attacks, and I usually die to specials. I guess it’s useful in war and against fun and interactive degen.

    True. Have fun. However, if you are coming to the forums looking for advice, and someone is recommending giving a generic to Corvus over Void I would definitely say that is a major strategic error. Awakened Void is immediately a top 10 champ in the entire game. Whether you like him or not. Corvus would still be top ten even unawakened.

    Therefore, if a person is solely concerned with making their roster as strong and diverse as possible, then giving the generic to Void is the wise play. Two top 10 champs is better than one.

    Eh, it's not necessary for sure but it helps. I would probably save it if I was in your shoes because 5* gems are so rare. Play around with him first and watch some videos on his mechanics before you make a decision.

    Why do I only see people talking about his death immunity? I’m more concerned with how often people are using his charges in 30 seconds so he can get another 20 sooner

    I personally don't have an awakened Corvus, but I could probably list a bunch of other cosmics that benefit more from the sig... If you have a couple of AGs lying around, yes, there are worse options, but if you only have the one awakening gem, there are definitely better options in my opinion.

    Corvus is definitely better awakened, however its not a top priority if you haven't awakened other cosmics like medusa yet.
