gifting tickets bug

in Bugs and Known Issues
i have 3 gifting tickets in my inventory, i have the temporary gifting badge but when i try to use the gift menu all the gifts cost credits and i don't see anywhere i can use the tickets. are the tickets working or is it a bug? what do i have to do so can use them to send gifts?

    Click on one of those "gifting tickets" and read it.

    all it says is that i can use it to send a gifting crystal but as i said in the gifting interface that opens after i click the gift button i don't see it anywhere

    Ok now you lost me, I assumed that you thought Night Thrasher Gadgets were gifting tickets. What are you clicking on?

    I have the exact same issue. Gifting tickets but no way to use them.

    @Dukegonzo @dvirb where did you people even get gifting tickets? There are no gifting tickets anywhere in this event.

    Probably the tickets from the Chinese new year event. Keep them in case it comes back around

    i got a response from support and thought to share it here in case other people encountered this.
    the tickets are indeed from previous events and so are not active in the current gifting event. hence why i can't use them now.

    You can't even Gift any other items currently anyways, Gifting has been disabled in game because of real-money Fraud.

    As for the red Ticket Gifting envelopes, those were meant to be gifted during those previous Events (didn't even know they hung around if you failed to gift them all back then). Not sure you'd be able to gift them now even if Gifting weren’t disabled.
