CoC unable to connect to iTunes

I'm trying to buy units so I can get a revive and potions to finish a story quest, but CoC refuses to let me. Every time I try, it hangs for a bit, then says it can't connect to iTunes. I even manually went into iTunes to add money to my account directly but I CoC is refusing to do the sale. What's going on, guys?
