Does anyone know how the multipliers are selected? We are in t3 right now, faced with another alliance with the same rating as us. The map has t3 nodes. Yet we have the t4 multiplier, which hurts our overall points.

    This thread partially supports the notion that the current leaderboard points error for master tier alliances is not the only leaderboard bug in AW Seasons

    If both alliances are t3 and the nodes are t3, a t4 multiplier for any of those two alliances does not make sense.. @Kabam Miike can you shine some light on this?

    Support said we are in tier 4, but we are clearly NOT in tier 4. I don't know why this is happening fellas

    They acknowledged that we should have a tier 3 multiplier but yet the refuse to admit that there is a problem and they refuse to admit that we are receiving t4 pts

    @Kabam Miike @Kabam Zibiit @Kabam Vydious @Kabam Lyra @Kabam Wolf we have reached out to support as per the general rules and have tried not to waste y'all's important time by trying the proper route and submitting a ticket in game. However, it is clear to us that support just simply does not understand the problem we are having. Can you please explain what is going on? None of their responses make sense considering what official forum responses by kabam say is the way the tier system works. Please help.

    Support is a waste of time. All you ever get is an "RNG" response. Sometimes it will correspond to the question at hand, but, most times it doesn't.

    Seems to be a visual bug. Our war ended and we got t3 rewards and pts.

    Ironic, given the types of messages we got from support in which they insisted that we were in t4.

    We've had this happen numerous times and it has always worked out just to be a visual error but those support responses are just impossible to read and just proves that not only do support staff not play the game but they don't even understand the mechanics behind it.

    Love earning tier 4 multiplier and having to burn items to get through tier 3 map. If that’s working as intended y’all need to fix your intentions.

    Same thing happened to us. Don’t know why they don’t see this as an issue. You fight a tier 3 map then you get corresponding multiplier. Pretty simple. Would love to hear reasoning why they don’t do it.

    This has happened to us as well. Multiplier showing 4.5 and getting rewards of multiplier 4. Happened twice with us. We just accepted it. It always works as intended.

    In our case, Tier 4 x 4.5 multiplier received when doing Tier 3 Expert Map expecting Tier 3 x 5.5 multiplier

    Same problem here. Sent several tickets to Kabam about this and they keep claiming the game is working as intended and it's normal that 2 alliances that are in a different tier can get matched and the map will be chosen randomly. Only problem is that we are in the same tier and still get the higher map but lower multiplier. Explained it in detail and added screenshots as proof but I don't think they even have looked at it. Seems like enough alliances are experiencing the same issue, why don't they acknowledge it?

    It’s uncanny that they think it’s normal, and completely bizarre imo. I’m not sure how they can fail to understand how inequitable it is to be matched with someone in the same tier 3, and yet be penalised and have tier 4 multiplier. We’ve had a pretty amazing win loss ratio all season and it is a real kick in the teeth to find that we might get shafted due to this issue on top of all the persistent bugs we’ve had to cope with all season that remain unfixed eg SP3 auto dash, lags etc etc and I know of guys who have rage quit mid season because of it. Won 7 lost 2 wars this season to date

    And it happened again. We were in t3, lost a match that should have kept us in t3. Faced an alliance with roughly the same War rating as us on a t3 Map yet we got only t4 multiplier.
    This is getting silly if Kabam doesn't know how their own system works.

    On this subject, Support and Mod comments are for entertainment purposes only. Someone at Kabam knows how this is supposed to work and whether it's working as intended or bugged, but they are keeping it to themselves lol
