Aq needs a sleep button.

Anyone running map 6 or 7 knows that timing is everything. I am totally ok with the time restrictions, however I am not ok with having to set a timer to interrupt my sleep. I work in the film industry and lack of sleep is a big deal, and many people have died as a result. Enough that they made a documentary discussing it.

And here is another point of view.

I think it could be as easy as a tab that you click and it allows you to store up to 8 energy... simple and effective and maybe we can all sleep a little better.

They just need to make 30’min timers permanent.

Well that'd be near impossible to pull off because of Time Zone Differences, and the Variety of People with Different Time Zones in one Alliance is bigger than you'd think. Also imo, if you're having to set alarms to wake up in the middle of the night to do something in a mobile game... That's ridiculous, especially if it causes problems with Work or your Health.

Except for the premise that other professions like Police officers, Fire fighters, construction workers, doctors, etc would not need to get as much sleep as filmmakers apparently need (ok, I admit, a little humorous, and didn’t bother watching video)...

It's actually a good suggestion. And it wouldn't impose problems with people of differing time zones, etc. it would be a “Sleep” button on an INDIVIDUAL basis (not Alliance-Wide that an Officer would press). And it wouldn’t “give” you 8 Energy if you didn't have that much energy. It would just let your Energy build up to a maximum of 8 over 8 hours (instead of 5 over 5 hours) while you’re sleeping, instead of waking up say after only 4 hours, and then going back to sleep for another 4 hours.

But at least the America's and Europe are in time zones where you can get some energy built up while sleeping (whether that be 5 or 8). Those in timezones where the normal AQ opening time is in the middle of their night (ie, Asia) are already at a disadvantage because when they wake up the Aq will be over. A solution to that would be to enact an 8-hour (or maybe 12-hour) STARTING TIME WINDOW in which Alliances can choose to begin their AQ day’s (without it eating into their final 5th day’s duration like it would now).
So AQ series would run for 5x24 + 8 (or 12) hours. Each day would still only last 24 hours, and you could still only do 5 days worth. Only complaint could be that Rank rewards would be delayed until the next day instead of coming out after only a few hours.

you are correct there are plenty of professions where they get lack of sleep and it affects all of them. I do encourage you to watch that video, it’s pretty mind blowing. I think the reason that filmmakers lack of sleep pops is that the deaths and accidents are easy to see that lack of sleep played a key role. I didn’t think about the guys that start aq while asleep, but if the button was available to them before aq started then they could press it and wake up to 8 nrg...anyway just a thought to help the map 6,7 guys get a little more rest.
