“Silver Surfer is coming to contest”. 5 months later still no sign ( besides talking in a few quests). I have to admit I feel a bit like kabam duped us. If they are going to advertise an addition to the game they should at least produce more than a couple sentences. If he is in fact being added could we get some kind of an update? I specifically started playing the game again because the Silver Surfer was being added.

    SS is going to be added. Most likely after this current EQ ends. Sometime after that.

    I don't remember seeing them say he was coming. I remember Easter Eggs that F4 were.

    You probably missed him ... he is already in the game. Just isn't a character that you can fight against or use.

    That video is a lot of hype for a character that’s just going to narrate a quest, which was the point of my thread. Thanks for linking it.

    Well, that is player's fault for creating false hope on something like that.
    But I still think he is going to be a character in the future, maybe playable as well

    They said the f4 event last 18 months. Going by the pace were getting the f4 im pretty sure well see silver surfer in the later part of those 18 months as a playable champ.

    The year isn’t over, and not even all the F4 are in the game. Why launch him between reed and sue? Of course they will bring them first probably Doom then surfer. Patience young padawon

    Since it is speculated that invisible women and Namor are coming out next month he might be released with Mr fantastic or they are gonna do what they did with Jessica Jones and gave her in game but not as a playable character

    If I had to venture a guess, I'd say they're spreading F4 out across the year, and if he's coming, it'll be towards the end sometime.

    C'mon... it's not as if peoples hopes are based off nothing. Releasing a promo vid for one of the most popular cosmic characters in Marvel is going to get peoples hopes up. I would hope he is playable or at least an enemy we have to fight because if not....

    Who said anything about being mad? Am I disappointed? yes.... I understand how marketing works. I just find it a bit deceitful to advertise a character coming into the game a year before you are going to release it. Having the character narrate a quest is not adding him to the game in the capacity that they are implying with that 2 min video. I understand endgame just finished so they have to capitalize on that , but they knew that was coming out last year. Why not push those characters instead of someone many have been waiting on, knowing they have no plans to release him for an extended period of time. I’m willing to cut them a break considering they just got the rights to the character, but again, don’t push the character like he is being added to the game in the near future when he is not. I’d rather have them “ leak” the info to build hype than prematurely announce implementation.

    He was just show for the story. It was never said if he will be playable in the near future.
