**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Greater Confusion Node

Does Magneto, UC, Juggernaut, or Sinister counter this war node that reverses your controls the entire fight? If not, this feels like a money grab.

I think Sinister is the only one who doesn’t suffer from that node, and it’s not for the entire fight, just the first 20 seconds (at least in my tier)

Yes. And all the ones OP listed. 😂
When fighting against Emma Frost they are. But if we’re talking about the confusion node on path 9 in AW, as far as I know only Mr. Sinister is immune to the reversed controls there. Unless you’ve tested this yourself?

The ONLY champion in mcoc who is immune to reverse controls is Mr. Sinister. NOBODY else is immune to it. Some champs (the helmet ones) are immune specifically to emma, but NOT to the nodes that say "reverse controls". Robots are immune to delirium, and it says that on the node.
  • Thanks for the clarification. I wanted to be absolutely sure that it was only Sinister that could bypass the node.

I took that path this aw and it was bad. I tried to learn the reverse mechanism and keep the moves constant but once the AI changes it’s game style, it’s impossible to go back to controlling the fight (especially if you’re cornered).
This node doesn’t make any sense if you can only use sinister to counter it. Your opponent will have there tech counters of sinister to make the fight even harder.

Out of topic but helps realize what kabam is doing to this game. It’s not a free to play game anymore! It’s pay to win.
How a free to play player can even get these new champs? When arena has become just like cavalier crystals. You have to spend money to have a chance to get a champ. Either by grinding or spinning!
Oh yea, right... you have to wait until next season when they get in the featured crystals

You know sinister is in the featured crystal now right?

Theres a few of hard nodes in this new map. This node is not one of them.... You can just wait out the 20 seconds right? Or parry and only hit when hes stunned to play it safe.

If it’s Greater Confusion it lasts through the whole fight.

Sinister is the only one that is immune to it, as mentioned by others earlier.

However, saying that, there are other ways to work around this node. Just need to be creative. 😊
