I am trying to learn ghost style but whenever I phase the opponent just stand there and hit at the exact moment when my phase run out .
I have saw some YouTube video and they all were able to bait opponent for hit while phasing .
This is were I am struggling most .

Sometimes the AI acts like that. Just do a combo and phase again, it should work. There are times you'll have to force the AI to run you by fighting aggressively.

I’m having the same problem. This new AI is garbage and so boring. I phase back and just twiddle my thumbs lol. That or they will come at you and stutter stop and right when phase ends throw a jab at you. That’s annoying.

Those who got ghost earlier were lucky they did not faced this problem when they were learning it.

This is imo the hardest thing to learn about ghost. The best advice is keep playing her and maybe dont bring her into AQ. At least in map 5 all non bosses are passive af.

Train vs ROL Wintersoldier. He is passive as well. So you will learn to play around it. Remember you dont have to always phase-intercept them. You can just parry or normal intercept them. Ofc only when they arent debuffimmune etc.

I needed around 2 weeks to "feel" the phase timing. And you will get better and better while playing her. Just dont give up.

I dont know if its true but imo there are some aggressive champs which always jump straight back into you. Nightcrawler and Venom are these for me. And some are just passive guys. AQ sentinels for example.

Oh and try to find SPs which you can counter with a heavy. Your damage will go up a lot. For ex: Rulk SP1 OGCap SP1 OG Blackpanther SP1 and SP 2. This are all SPs which moves them to you to get you into heavy range. Heavy wall chains are good as well.

If you have an questions feel free to ask

in my opinion i like to use her just normmaly, - if opponent not stun immune gain as many furys i can with parry-heavy n do massive 80k sp1 and few 15k medium hits,
    - if opponent is debuff or stunn immune ,just normal 3 combos back out ,if he comes at u ,good , we get some powergain while phasing ,if he doesnt.., just go back in 3 hits back out,u just gotta know when to go in so needs intercepting .but i know pandman pete n dominos dave r two utubers i saw who play her amazingly goood.. which i can never do

    Ai sometimes does that.

    Your three options are:
    1. Asume your phasing is ending, so parry him and hit while you have the cruelty buff.
    2. Intercept and phase again, this is kind of trickier but works really well.
    3. Dash back and dexterity until you can phase again.

It's not that hard, but in my opinion to be an excellent ghodt player you have to be an excellent player overall, that means knowing how to intercept mostly.

I can clearly see my intercepting skills has improved thanks to killmonger I feel so comfortable while intercepting with him .
I will try to phase only for launching spl and avoiding spl
