This is absolutely terrible. People ranked her for that reason only. She had a unique ability that’s absolutely not op, but of course Kabam has to nerf her...

Exactly my point. Since when is chaining a heavy at the end of a combo a bug? Not all champs can do it, all champs have different sizes, move sets, hit boxes etc. but She-Hulk is NOT the only champ that can STILL do it. Is Kabam going to update all the other champs that can do it?

To me this is like saying chaining a special mid-heavy is a bug... Kabam gonna come along a remove that mechanic from champs like CapIW, etc?

bugs can persist in games for years or even decades before being fixed. The length of time in the game does not negate it being a bug.

So pathetic move by kabam i am really pissed of. But when nerfs like this happened and you see people to say its a fix you understand the reason the world is going so bad.

There are out a lot of videos of she hulk doing that with that playstyle, kabam waited everyone to rank her up and now they nerf her! Its amazing!

Being able to chain in a heavy to get a slow debuff against certain opponents was a huge part of why I ranked her. This is incredibly frustrating.

i don't normally get fired up for changes to champs like this. but this is absurd, and feels like a punch in the stomach.
with ZERO indication that this wasn't working as intended (other champs can chain heavies with their combo)
why in the world is this being suddenly changed to She Hulk?!

you can't possibly deny that people have ranked she hulk based on her complete gameplay, which has been on display for a few months now from countless youtube videos from content creators, general chatter on forums and discord.

the fact that there was NO warning whatsoever, NO indication that a change was coming is a very unfair way to affect summoners who have ranked her up since her buff. I can't possibly imagine how any sort of compensation isn't justified here. right now i feel completely dejected, and feel as though i have no way to trust the integrity of the champions i rank in the future.

i hope you understand where a lot of us are coming from with this. it feels like we were blindsided, and right now, i just don't know how excited i can get when i get to the next champ i want to rank up. without the feeling of pride and excitement of ranking up champs in the future...where do we go from here?

Miike you once said that compensation isn't about free stuff. completely agree. but you also said it's about rectifying what is right. I'm seriously hoping you see that we deserve the chance to move forward without feeling like out resources got yanked away from us.

I think most of us would understand if the change to she hulk was for the betterment of the meta, or any other reason put forward by you and the game team. but we deserved warning, and a discussion prior to the change. because right now it just feels like a good portion of summoners just got slapped in the face out of nowhere.

I love this game. I love the community you've created, and I've been extremely excited for where the game is going. But this makes me take a step back, and question how invested I can get in the future if I can't trust the integrity of how our champs are treated.

I agree, this is a bug.

However....

Fixing this bug creates a huge disparity between players who have already defeated the champion paths in 6.2.6 and those who haven't. I don't think this bug should be fixed.

Here's my fear...

Lately it seems that things get "broken" for some users, so they report that "champ X can no longer use this well known thing they were able to do last week" in the bugs forum. This is true with SheHulk and her heavies for some users, this was true for switching NC stances, this is true for other things (hitting into blocks)

INSTEAD of fixing the issue for those who are experiencing it, it seems the game team has decided the better route is to make it so that EVERYONE experiences it. "You should never have been able to do that, it was a bug that was never documented in the YEARS this game has been around, and we are "fixing" it now"... It's plain vanilla BS, it's lazy game design support, and definitely doesn't support the transparency you claim.

I like how they call it “fix a issue.” Since when was this a “issue?” Once she was a champion killer in act 6? Her mechanics have been the same forever. You give her a buff. She’s finally good at something then you take it away. Where is the logic in that. It’s not a issue for the player. It’s a issue for you guys that she can take down your hardest content to date. Completely ridiculous.

I don’t see it being a bug so much as part of the current game mechanics. Many champs are able to do this because of hit speed, hit box, pushback, and size. I have been doing this ever since I saw mvinceable do this using Ultron over 2 years ago. This is just like how some champions are easier to shallow evade than others. Just game mechanics.

In this case they are altering game mechanics in order to “fix” a champion that was able to beat content they didn’t want her to. Without much of a heads up either.

Yes she hulk made champion easy and also couldn’t have kabam at least have given warning as this strat has been well known for months

They are giving you warning, it is not in the game yet... it is in the change log for the next patch.

I hate the words but everyone with a ranked She Hulk deserves a rank down ticket. She’s been this way for years and not once did they say it’s a bug until now which for me warrants the need for rank down tickets. What else are they gonna say is a bug?? The fact that Quake can take opponents down without taking any damage...? Lol

Its still a warning, they cannot go back in time and warn you before they know and fix the bug.

They better not change quake. I think the fact that she's hard to learn and that even most top players can't play her to her fullest prevent her from changing. Hopefully, she never does.
I don't like what kabam is doing overall though. They could just call anything a bug even if it's existed for extremely long and ppl have relied on it for years/months and poured resources into it.
They could literally change anything they want by claiming it's a bug

This is a bizarre decision, Kabam. You made players happy by updating She-Hulk, making her viable against difficult content, only to pull the rug out from players for no explainable reason.

Whoever handles your PR apparently has 100 percent ability accuracy reduction applied, because this is only going to piss people off, and for what? So a handful of good players can no longer use your recently buffed champ the way she was presented to them?

Now I suppose we'll call her She-Nerf.

Another sickening move motivated by greed. Her ability to chain into heavies was the main reason players ranked her up. I took her to r5 for her abilities so I want rankdown tickets. By the way, OML can chain heavies as well. Is that going to get fixed??? Or is it because She Hulk is an inconvenience to your wallets?
