  Tier 4 catalyst is like the one limited resource in this game, notice how easy it is to rank up 2* and 3* champs, and get 4* champs, up to ranks 3 and 4, because after that you as a player have to ponder yourself, do you as a player, want to take a 4* champ to up to rank 5 with it or save it for a 5* champ rank up. Saving it for a 5* can be beneficial, if you already got one, in completing harder material in the game, but can also expire on you if you wait pass the time limit expiration to use it on a preferred 5*champ, sorta like a double edge sword option.

  Once you get further in the game this will no longer be a thing and you'll have more T4 class cats than you can use (if you are running higher AQ). It's been a long time since I have actually opened a t4cc crystal.
