Leaderboard bugs?

I had play the new versus event to obtain Vision Argus and I gather around 1 mil point and my rank is only 11-25%
Compared with my classmate I found out that he got only 300,000 points but he still ranked in 1-10% How is that possible?

    You are probably already past the 60 day mark, and are in Veterans Bracket for Arena. And friend is probably still in Intermediate (30-60 days since starting to play).

    3* Veterans bracket typically might need 1.2m for Hero.

    thanks for the answer and suggestion so next time I would farm harder XD.
