@PHJfin I am a fellow Oneplus user (7T pro). I was playing this game with forced refresh rate at 90Hz and had a really good experience until the Guardian/Sasquatch game engine update (27.2.5). After that I dropped the refresh rate to auto 90Hz, so it would have ran at 30fps. Recently when I got the 33.3.1 minor update the…

FFS, can you please fix the bloody game engine you messed up a millennia ago? There's no point in introducing a new champion (or even a thousands more) as long as we have poor performance. We are not complaining from using a low end device that can't cope up with your game. Most of the complains are from flagship devices…

Sorry for my ignorance, but exactly what was fixed? I installed the update and the only difference I noticed was the change in version number.

I tried that too and noticed that there seems to be no stutter or lag when recording is on (but it doesn't feel smooth like pre 27.2.5 version). Luckily I captured the best evidence I can and anyone can check it out here. On normal speed you can see that whenever Mordo's SP1 or SP2 (obvious freeze can bee seen) is…

LOL. Changing platforms because of a poorly developed game. That's a new level of low for us. I was hoping it would be fixed once summoner showdown is done, but I honestly have no idea whether its still on-going or finished. That's the only logical reason I could find for that useless game engine update.

Agreed. The game is still **** and their response is "the game wasn't meant to be played on a high fps device". Thanks Kabam. Highly appreciate the effort taken to screw with us.

Another day and another update with no fixes in sight. Same shitshow for over a month. Why is it that you guys keep iOS stable and actively screw up Android? And how come only Android got a game engine update and not iOS?

28.1 changelog is out. No acknowledgement of performance issues under "bug fixes and Improvements" for Android.

@Zuuu I am playing on a 2018 iPad Pro 11" which has 120Hz display. The game doesn't make use of the high refresh rate and it is more or less 60 fps. Only advantage is there's no stutter or input lag, so you don't get combo'd into oblivion by missing a parry or dex even though you timed it right. Pre 27.2.5 update I…

@BigPoppaCBONE Thanks for the info. Agreeing with @SuperToebash, maybe the game isn't capable of 120 fps but, it was definitely capable of running @ 60 fps or above smoothly. I did a test by forcing my device to 60Hz and noticed that all other games (like Call of Duty) on my device are playing just fine. This is not such a…

@SuperToebash I agree. I still cannot comprehend how such an obvious issue got through test and QA cycles in the first place. There was nothing added in the changelogs for the minor updates like 27.2.5 and 28.0.2. It's not even in their release blog. I am not sure how It's fair to continue the showdown while the game is…

@SuperToebash, I don't think that's the case. Based on @Zuuu's screenshots from ROG 3, the FPS is half of active refresh rate. To be on equal grounds all Android users should be using a 120Hz display device to play the game. I am pretty sure majority of us are using devices with 60Hz or 90Hz displays. Meaning 45 FPS and…

@Thecurler I am also playing on my iPad as well and still waiting for a fix. I noticed that iOS never got a 27.2.5 update and it directly went from 27.2.0 -> 28.0 -> 28.0.2, while only Android received that update. From further digging I found that it was a game engine update and it wasn't mentioned in the changelog. Found…

I think without any changes to boost/force display frequency, it must be running in like 30 or 45 fps. Only on my 7T Pro after forcing display to always 90Hz I felt it was really smooth with high fps. After playing on my 7T Pro for months, I switched back to my iPad Pro 11" due to the recent lag. Honestly, on fps side I…

I got an update for 28.0.2. Don't see any improvement in visual performance. Input lag seems like it has improved a bit, but I am seeing a lot of micro stutters in the menus and fights. Only time it feels smooth is during the SP3 animation. Still stability is not even close to pre 27.2.5 version of the game

Maybe they are crippling Android since there are a handful of Android devices that are actually better than iOS devices. For example, iPhone 11 Pro Max 60Hz display / 120Hz touch response. Budget Android phone like OnePlus Nord 90Hz display / 180Hz touch response or high end device like Note 20 Ultra which claims a 120Hz…

I am playing on a OnePlus 7T Pro and just now tried V28. The gameplay is still bad. I can see a minor improvement on menus but that doesn't really help. Went back to V27.2.0 and it really is more stable and smooth. Problem is being on an older version means no new content.

I got really frustrated while playing the game last night and downgraded it back to 27.2.0 from 27.2.5 (had a backup of the APK and Data using Titanium Backup). Difference is night and day. Sticking to this version until the next update is live and confirms the issue is fixed.

@SuperToebash, I did a bit of fiddling around with the FPS options on my OP 7T Pro. I dropped the refresh rate to 60Hz. Menu animation and map areas were totally choppy and stuttering. I started one match, finished it and forced the refresh rate back to 90Hz. Menu animation is better and a bit smooth but minor stutter.…
