That’s a different argument altogether. People who complain about gold (typically) don’t use all avenues provided to maximise their intake (arena / incursions). The argument here is the value of competing to achieve the highest rank possible in AW doesn’t make sense when you can literally ‘do worse’ in the season and get…

Add this to the ever growing list of tone deaf changes made by Kabam over the last 2/3 years. Genuinely concerning that they aren’t improving, but worsening the playing experience of their core game modes.

Ghost is in no way over-rated and she’s still the top 1/2 champ in the game. I use her everywhere and I would say ghost is still a better champ than Kitty.

I can deny your points. They’re supposed to provide end game players challenging content outside of the usual story/AOL etc. No where did Kabam once say these are supposed easy. If you don’t like them you don’t have to do them - especially with rank 4 mats becoming increasingly available.

You don’t think in game rewards are becoming quickly outdated with the recent cash offers in mind? @BitterSteel made perfectly valid points. This feels like it upsets the balance of the game with current in game rewards taken into account, and it devalues content like CC’s from a time spent perspective.

You’re completely missing the point. The value in these offers cause a big imbalance in in-game rewards, even at the very top levels of competitive play. Yes Kabam need to make money, but the game also needs to remained ‘fairly’ balanced. These offers tip the scales too much.

I agree with you. My point is more to manage expectations. If people don’t/can’t put the time into the areas of the game that help maximise gold, they should understand they won’t be able to rank up champions (especially 6*’s) regularly.

What about those thronebreakers with super developed rosters? Why should they have to take lesser rewards?

At the end of the day, it’s a resource management problem you have. If you know you don’t/won’t run arenas to keep a flow of gold coming in, you shouldn’t expect to rank up champions regularly. I’d love Kabam to increase the gold we get in game, but it doesn’t look like they’re going to. So people need to manage their rank…
