I'm in agreement that the game needs to keep getting more technical with complex champions in order to evolve, but it does bring up a good point about how steep the learning curve is for new players. I brute forced my way to Uncollected before I even considered looking for external resources on YouTube or the forums to…

Same. I had just started looking at tier lists and he was always near the top. One of my first 5/65s and I never use him outside of arena

I don't think it's fair to say that Kabam stopped caring about buffs. They just realized that most champs that need buffs need complete overhauls, which take 3+ months of development time compared with tune-ups which can probably get completed in 4-5 weeks. Buffs are still coming out, Kabam just can't commit to a timeline…

TL;DR Math post: The chance of seeing a specific champ in Battlegrounds is about 60%. Because of that, everyone can expect to have a champ that they don't see for their next 3-5 matches, and the unlucky ones could go longer and that's totally expected. Let's break this down into draft rounds and BG matches. Each draft…

I believe MASTERMIND is the Cav-only Solo Objective. I'm guessing that based on the rewards, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

In Kabam's post, they defined the optimal battleground performance as "defeating the defender, losing as little health as possible, as quickly as possible". If that's what they intended, then it seems like the primary goal is "KO the defender" with secondary goals of "Max Attacker Health Remaining" and "Min Fight Time". So…

I definitely want battlegrounds to be a place for endgame players to use their expansive rosters of R3s and R4s, but I think it could also be interesting to have a *much* lower reward tier that only allows lower champs (I'm thinking 3*s since the arena update kinda made them irrelevant). It'd be easier for players to build…

Literally me yesterday getting my first completion run of 6.2.6. Usually I waste my whole team on the first couple fights and call it a day, but I got on a roll and soloed all but 1 fight up to the Champion. Knocked him down to 10% with maybe 1 revive, and felt like I was on top of the world. Then I couldn't get the dex…

I thought it was supposed to be a 2-part fix, with the second part coming out with the December release. But I still crashed ~20 rounds into my arena grind today. It's a lot better than the 5-10 round crashes I was experiencing back in October tho
-
I think there's supposed to be a trade in store during December. Wouldn't surprise me if there were a couple options to trade up hoarded lower tier gold crystals to further encourage players to clear their current stashes

To me, it seemed like the defender stood up quicker than before after skipping the SP3, so I was taking hits to the face right after before I could move/block. Might just be me needing to get used to the new timing, or just not use it when the SP3 leaves both champs next to each other.

6 months ago we didn't have auto quest, which is by far my favorite QOD update we've gotten since I started playing 3 years ago.

I think the point here is that you should have an expectation for the amount of value you get when you use a rare item. Your definitions of value and item rarity will change based on where you're at in the game, but, in the future, I'd recommend against using an AG for your top champ rarity without knowing what that…

Fury is the safest option. He's a great champ, and even without him awakened, he's still a support champ that doesn't waste a slot with his attack boost self-synergy. I've never pulled HM, so I can't speak to his usefulness, but Gwenpool and Masacre are both favorite champs of mine. GP gets a lot of bleeds and can use them…

That's one (none-gameplay) thing I wish the game did better. The new plotline every month is one of my favorite things about this game, but sometimes the storylines cut off, leaving weird plot gaps that never get closed. Like I love having the "Fantastic 4 / Galactus", "X-Men vs Apocolypse", and other recurring storylines…

There shouldn't be a new title for 7.3. I think there could be one for 7.4, but only if they significantly ramp up the difficulty from 7.2. Also, they'd probably be releasing a new monthly EQ thronebreaker difficulty around the same time. I doubt that's something they're working on right now, so I wouldn't expect a new…

I don't understand why everyone is up in arms about nodes like this. People love to complain that "challenging content isn't challenging if you can just quake it", but then when challenging content uses true focus to counter quake/ghost, people complain that they can't use quake/ghost. I get that it's frustrating that true…

Honestly not a fan of this rework. My favorite part of the old kit was venompool's easy and reliable access to the massive regen on the SP1. The rework is taking that regen away for everything but armor up buffs. They kinda give it back through the deadpool syngergy, but I'm really going to miss that regen. Otherwise, I…

I'll throw Blade's hat into the ring for this one. If we're talking champ design, I think it's hard to beat Blade. His entire kit builds on itself amazingly and I think it does so better than any other champ in the game. Offensively, he gains power to throw specials. All of his specials inflict bleed on the opponent.…

When it says "Week 5 is a spare to finish content", does that include castle rifts? Or just EQ content? I assume week 5 will just have the week 4 quest open again with no added quest entries. But if we're finishing SQ content, will all 4 weeks come back with no added entries?

Not saying arenas don't need improvement, cuz they really do. But there are some genuinely good things they did (6* rank rewards with 3 and 4 stars in the milestones) and reverting back to the old system would be the same as scraping the good with the bad. It just sucks because we have to take 1 step back right now in…
-
It's barely been 2 weeks since the update. Thinking Kabam has enough data from 4 arenas to make any kind of informed decisions on how to improve is laughable.
-
We all understand how you feel. Continually working for new champs just to get something unuseful sucks. But that's just how these games work I guess? Assuming there's a 1/6 chance of getting a champ you want, only getting 1 after 16 pulls puts you in the same situation as a quarter of the player base at that progression…

My bet is that the "true mistress" of the sword is a hero version of Queen Hassen that was defeated by Mephisto and forced into an alternate version of the iron maiden. This would explain why the new Morningstar has a physical body and heart, rather than being just a reanimated soul inside the iron maiden. I'm guessing…
-
I don't remember exactly which EQ it was (Spam's release?) but Mojo seemed to be in possession of the iron maiden body. The body was animated but as more of an animal rather than a being with conscious thought. Also, if you look at G2099's champ bio, it doesn't talk about the motion comic at all. Instead, G2099 is a robot…

Didn't realize about the klyntar buff effect, but glad to know about that node interaction going forward. However, I was also running into the evading venom issue in the side quest on the spider gwen / og spidey path. AFAIK, there's no node interaction that would remove the klyntar buff. Fortunately, I have a roughly-equal…

Cav player here (7 6*s, all R1 and 3 5/65 5*s). When I did old arena grinds, I would hit all the milestones on the 3*, and both 4* arenas for about a streak of 45 in each, which took up most of my time in the game, but was doable because there was no overlap in the champs for each arena. This would earn the 3* champs from…

My "Big 3" for clearing new content used to be Miles Morales, Venompool, and Mephisto lol. I still enjoy playing them occasionally, although Mephisto is usually tied up as an AW defender now that he's duped
