  • I’m honestly not sure why anyone is suprised. This is just Kabams way of doing business and this game is a business. If they give away too much for free, they make less money. It’s that simple. Sure, it’s unfair, it’s underhanded, it’s insulting but Kabam doesn’t care about you, they care about their bottom line.
  • Compensation: I don’t think that word means what you think it means Kabam.

  • Your compensation is getting an event that you would probably have gotten anyway. For new players and casual players, it’s a nice event I suppose. For veteran players, it’s meh. At least it’s only a week long this time so less chance of overheating your phone.
  • They won’t even admit the mistake, let alone fix it. So much for transparency. But yeah, it is what is. Some of us got lucky and some of us didn’t.
  • Lol, you sound mad. I’m not crying. In fact, I got the compensation on my alt account. Just saying, I did the quest exactly one time on that account and got two free T4CCs. Not exactly sure how that is fair to those who did it every day for a month and didn’t come close to that but it’s cool, I’ll take it. I needed it much…
  • It actually wasn’t if you didn’t do the quest, it was if you didn’t do the quest at the specific time it glitched causing it to not reset for you the next day. So for one missed day, people were over compensated with rewards they could not have earned for the entire month doing it every day. Kabam screwed that one up and…
  • Well, I think the issue there is people have a varying opinion of what should have been a qualifier for the compensation. Like my alt account for example, I did that quest just once in the 4 weeks or so it was available and I got the compensation package. There are people (my main account included) who did that quest every…
  • I think the issue people have is that compensation far exceeded anything you would have earned for doing the quest every day for the entirety of the event. That and the randomness at which it was given out. I mean I know they have described the criteria for it but still.. They appearently when with a system generated list…
  • They definitely made a mistake but they will never admit because if they did they would either have to give everyone the cats to even it out or take them back from the people they gave them to which would set off a bunch more threads and supports tickets and angry people. I’m sure they just figure this will blow over soon…
  • This thread will be deleted in 3...2....1...
  • Definitely too high. At least your phone can’t overheat if you can’t play.
  • Well, if it wasn’t for the fact that they gave out to two T4CCs in place of one missed fragment crystal, I don’t think anyone would care. That and the criteria for who got did seem questionable and kind of random. I for example received the compensation on my alt account for doing that assignment just one time and honestly…
  • I honestly think they meant to give two fragment crystals but messed up and gave the wrong one. If you read the email it says they are giving ‘double’ rewards for the one affected quest and those quests dropped a single t4cc fragment crystal at 100% completion so it should have been 2 frag crystals.
  • Basically if you did the assassin quest thing on the very first day you are rewarded with some very nice compensation. If you started any day after the first day or even if you did it every day but not that first day you are not eligible for it. I got it on my alt account on which I did the quest all of one time which just…
  • Even if you did that quest every day for 30 days straight you would get 1800 random shards each day which would be 54K shards spread across all classes (which means extremely small chance of getting a full T4CC). The compensation they gave for one missed quest and only for that specific days quest is worth 72K matching…
  • I think he just upset about the level of compensation, it was not proportionate to one missed quest. And I can’t speak for the original poster but many of us did the quest every day and didn’t even come close to getting one t4cc and in game chat and some of the threads here there are people laughing about how they only did…
  • I think it was a mistake but it really doesn’t matter at this point. If it was a mistake, they most likely won’t admit it. Just be happy for those who got it. When they have them in the unit store they usually cost like $30.
  • I think they meant to give two T4CC Fragment crystals which would have been double what would be received from one quest. Everything else in that package was exactly double what you would get from one quest. I’m happy for the people that got the compensation but I agreee with you it’s not fair to those who didn’t.…
