I guess that is a fair stance to take. You’re very right in that the guy who only fought sinister once vs. a guy who fought 6.2.6 should probably have different, proportional comp packages. I’m sad for the folks who didn’t net gain or straight up got shafted in the exchange.

I’m all for the compensation, but we can’t be impatient. Not if we want to promote a system where We mutually understand the other side’s position. I won’t let them off the hook, but the compensation is coming.

Yeah, I’m torn, since my Voodoo can plaster the first 70% in about 40 hits because of the ludicrous amounts of fury he generates. I think we’re all in agreement that the last 10% is the ‘difficult’ part, all things considered. I’m just looking for alternatives to relying on SymS for future runs.

If Kabam goes with a “standard” all-encompassing compensation package, I personally think it should be 400-500 units flat to cavaliers that have done some or all of 6.2. Should be MORE than fair, given 2 major bugs (that I know of) were left unchecked for considerable time lapses, and general community frustration. I’m not…

The beta testers shouldn’t get a ton of heat, unless they actively ignored the big bugs that we knew about. I’m still interested to hear about compensation directly linked to players affected by those bugs, especially since I experienced the Champion indestructible bug AFTER it was declared resolved, at least once.

I would disagree with you both before and after I completed the quest. Dueling a powerful champion with a weakling 2/3* champ can simulate the conditions to get the dex. I think the requirement is fine and doesn’t need a change. I think the dex window is too small, especially since other melee champions’ specials are NOT treated the same way. Go ahead and dex a Black Widow L1/2, or Black Panther L1/2, etc. you’ll find you can dex damn near any time at melee range for fighters like them.…

If I went in again with enough heals to reasonably take a bit of block damage I imagine it’d be a cheaper run. I found the last hit to be the one you can most reasonably set up since it’s a longer range hit, and you can use the time to build power in an SS to respond with a special pretty much just after if you can’t get it to register.

Oh, in that, we’re in agreement. I don’t like the idea of just tossing money at a problem. I just disagree with what does and does not constitute a “dexterity proc”. Especially with other contest champions where you can bet you don’t need to hit a pixel-perfect timing for dexterity on their melee specials.

I didn’t encounter the bug thankfully, but the dex mechanic needs a good long look. Am I alone in thinking the conditions are a bit too stringent?

More units than I care to admit, probably about 400. I used the in-and-out strat. Would dash back twice, and dash in right as he throws the “over arm” downswing, block to be RIGHT against him, and then try for the dex. I’ll post clips of successful attempts. One of the few fights I actually used sound cues for.
