  • All valid points. However, if bosses are meant to be a team effort, then one shouldn't be penalized for timing out with the penalty to attack bonus being the same as any other champ. As for the moving goal posts, it's true that power creep is inevitable in these kinds of games, but there is a line to how big the power wall…
  • Too bad my GP is only r3. Maybe someone in my alliance has her maxed though.
  • Gwenpool makes sense I suppose. Wouldn't have thought he damage out put was high enough though, and her random bleeds could cause a problem calculating when and how to provoke a special to negate rock armor. As for Crossbones, I can definitely see it, but in high level play i can't imagine he's a popular choice to max out…
  • That's a good idea for me to consider. She is very capable. Mine is r4 though and I'm not very practiced using her against Things. Also, my game plan fighting them has always been to bait specials when they hit 15 rock counters. Trying a battle where I just keep his unstoppable from happening at all is something I'd also…
  • During my rant it's true I didn't specify. The Things I fought were 100% maxed out in level and awakened. I do not know the sig levels for these cases, but where my alliance is now, you can't afford to have anything less than a maxed out champ as your boss.
  • I thought maybe that was possible, but wasn't confident enough in it to be comfortable. Sadly, you can't replicate the conditions needed to test these champs and trying such a thing during war is too much of a gamble and unfair to the alliance if it fails.
  • Well he isn't a good counter in that danger sense doesn't activate. But his ability to reliably cause bleeds without having to attack allows him to control the fight since parries will lower Thing's rock armors. Meaning if he gets to 15 and is not at one bar, i can just parry to give myself more room to attack safely. Also…
