Never mind. I’m an idiot. I just saw you can only get solar charges if you have armor ups to convert. Once you’re out of armor the Sp. 2 won’t give you charges.

I just got Scorpion and duped Hulkling but haven’t used them much. I know very little about either of them. I’m leaning Doom simply because I already have a R4 mutant but is it crazy that I enjoy Dr. Voodoo more? Tigra’s tempting because she’s fun but I’m not great with her yet. I love Tigra but I’m just ok at her so far. Still trying to learn but she’s unique and a ton of fun which I like. Doom is obviously a leader in the clubhouse but just wanted to see if there was a less obvious choice since Kitty and Herc are also no brainers.

I second this. I have a R2 6 star that I almost soloed with. Got him down to 15% and finished with one revive. With more practice, I’m sure I’ll get the solo.

This is helpful. I like quirky characters as well. I’m a big fan of Tigra, Ghost, IHulk, Kitty…etc. I think that’s my issue, I’m playing him pretty conventionally.

Yes, this is fair and an important distinction. I did conflate compensation for apology. I’ll still maintain that I would like any apology to be less RNG based because we all suffer the same and there’s no reason why some are gifted a Hercules and others a Groot due to RNG. Thank you for the clarification.

So who cares what it is as long as you get stuff? That seems shortsighted. These aren’t freebies. This is a repayment for supporting this game while it is undergoing extreme technical difficulties. Congrats on the pull! As the owner of a R3 sig 200 CapIW, I can say that you will get a ton of use out of him. Others may say he’s fallen a bit because he’s not quite as flashy or “sexy” as some of the newer champs but he will absolutely carry you through a ton of content like Act 6 and 7. I really think they should take some of the RNG out of rewards for completing difficult content. Instead of shards or crystals for completing content like 7.4 or Carina challenges they should reward us with the 10 champ class nexus like they did for Abyss. You’ve got some good options. Start with Warlock for sure. He doesn’t need the dupe at all. Other options are Magneto, Dragon Man is really good, Spider Gwen, and Gladiator Hulk. Howard is a sneaky good champ too. Once you dupe Void and Thing get those guys ranked as well. Good luck!

In that order? I’ve only fiddled a bit with Miles and I like his ability to bypass specials but it feels like I’m missing something when I play him. Like I’m not accessing his damage properly. Yellowjacket is interesting….I haven’t considered him much.

I was in this same position and used mine on Thanos. He’s the only champ you have no chance of duping naturally (unless you hit the jackpot again during the gifting event).

I had the same issue. I was getting clipped by the Sp. 1 almost every time. Ended up using well over 1000 units on a fight that I’ve been able to clear in the past with just 2-3 revives.

I’m honestly not interested in getting revives and potions back. I spent a lot of units and real world cash to complete this not realizing it was bugged. I want my money back. I wouldn’t have bought revives in the first place had I known.
