Can't access game on iPad - Updated but says need update

I haven't played on my iPad pro in a while, I updated the game this morning, but the icon didn't update and when I open it it says I still need to update and takes me back to the app store. I've not created a Kabam account for my alt on my Ipad so I'm afraid to uninstall and reinstall and lose my account. Any advice here? Please excuse that the screenshots are pictures, can't take screenshots on this iPad

    Hey there, we have some troubleshooting steps that can be found for iOS here that may be of help for this. Additionally, you may want to check to make sure that there is enough storage space on the device for the update.
