What is going on???

I have posted a few times. I have a LG G6 and 2 Asus Zenpad 8s. It is so unenjoyable to even start the game up anymore because i cannot do anything without connectivity issues or lag. Not sure why it is taking a year to discover what anomaly is causing the issue. I work IT and whether investigating terminal servers, cloud based servers, or onsite servers, constant lag issues are resolved within a week [removed by Moderator]. We also care about those who pay. Though Contest can be free to play, the lag creates so many issue where some cannot complete a quest without having to shell out a few bucks just so that they can buy some revives real quick so they don;t waste the energy. I have been playing the game for just over a year and this issue just does not seem to be on anyones priority list. Adequate compensation has also not been provided for those who all these issues affects. I had to refresh just to write this post. C'mon, get it together.

    Hey Scrathy, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing lag and connectivity issues, and I understand it can be frustrating when the game doesn't perform in the way you expect.

    There are many smartphone and tablet devices capable of running the game. Those devices are made by different manufacturers, have varying specifications, and run on various versions of iOS and Android Operating Systems. Additionally, the connections between those devices and our servers are established and maintained by a vast number of wireless and mobile networks because not everyone uses the same mobile phone provider or Internet Service Provider at home.

    With all that being said, there are many different reasons why one person may experience a specific performance or connection issue when compared to someone else who encounters the same issue.

    Unfortunately, there isn't a simple "one-fix-all" solution to problems like lag or connection issues in The Contest for the reasons mentioned above. However, we're always investigating any reports we receive here in the Forums and working to develop and implement improvements on our end to help make the game run as smoothly as possible on as many devices as possible.
