Purpose of support and and tickets?

Had an alliance mate that was banned, it happens I guess. He swears like all the rest he didn’t do it so he sends in a ticket. Kabam’s response is hilarious. “Support is unable to overturn an account suspension. Any such actions are considered final. As we have provided all of the help that we can in this case, this case has now been closed.” Lmao. Now for the point of the post and my real question: If they can’t do anything why do the mods push people to go to them, and then close their discussion with no other response allowed? Empower your support team or direct each query to the appropriate team that actually has power to do something.
