  Rarities are the official name for their Star Rating. 3-Star, 4-Star, etc.

  It's a worse version of the Nexus Crystal because the three Champions that pop up must all be of the same Star Rarity... With Nexus Crystals it was basically three Crystal Rolls making it more likely than usual to find a 4 Star, but with these you'll only find 4 Stars with the same chance as a regular Single Crystal Roll...

  For crystals that contain multiple rarities of champions, this is basically a normal regular crystal at an higher cost of units. If you are destined to get a 2-star champion they will now let you choose which 2-star you want.
  Not really anything good, and it even costs more than a regular crystal.
  
  Now I'm curious to see what the "nerfed" version of a guaranteed rarity champion nexus crystal will look like.
