Lost connection to server issue

I invited my cousin to play the game and he downloaded it on his iPhone and it keeps saying Failed to log in, lost connection to server please try to re connect whenever he tries to start the game. He tried uninstalling then game and re installing it and even installing it on his iPad and it never worked.

    Would those of you experiencing this issue be able to answer some questions for me?

    -What device are you using?
    -What version of the OS are you running?
    -What type of connection were you using when you experienced this issue? (wifi/network)
    -Does this occur every time you start the app, or only some of the time?

    Any info you can provide about your experiences with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Device: Iphone 6
    OS: iOS 10.3.3
    Connection: WiFi (100mb/sec)
    This occur every time. I have never been able to properly enter the game before.
    But a second ago I was first allowed to login game.
