New AW excited, frustrated or annoyed?

I'm sure some levels of players will greet the new AW with excitement. However it isn't that new, as it's basically the same thing just reconfigured to cost more energy, increase opportunity for unit spend and reduce the number of fights you can get in on a full energy meter when boosted because of the extra spaces inserted from what I can see.
I'm in the frustrated camp as I want new content, and yes fiddle with old if you want, but also fix the bugs guys some have been outstanding too long.
