Extended ban durations

Hey there.
My alliance mate was banned for one week. Idk what was the reason but one thing I know that he’s not a cheater, I know his gameplay and he just doesn’t needs to cheat.

He said ok I’ll make a vacation for a week and come back. He waited for one week and now it says that it’s extended to one month. As you can imagine he’s very upset about that. What’s the deal here? He surely couldn’t cheat in that period of time because he wasn’t able to login at all.

Can someone enlighten me here please.

    Typically means they are investigating still but is usually a sign they found something... Bans will typically go for one week to a month to possibly perm ban... Could have been piloting, using blue stacks, using a merc to clear content... A bunch of things
