Rank Down Gem

Will it be useful to have a 5-4 Rank Down Gem instead of 4-5 5* Rank Up Gem on the Variants?

My situation goes like this, I rank 5 mostly all of the Champs I need for further content progress but then I'll end getting a 6* version of a Champ that I recently Upgraded?

Will I take them up to 6* Rank 2 or even 3? I will, if they are Nick Fury or Doom. If not? They will end up on a Rank 1 6* coz Ranking them up would be useless on my end.

Having a Rank Down Gem will be a great use, IMO.

Wait, what?! What would you use a rank down ticket for? Getting resources to take another character up with? Isn't that achieved by, the 4 to 5 ticket!?!!?!! Are you serious LOL ill give your post to a LOL reaction. Why don't you just ask for 1 to 2 6* gem or even the raw resources instead of a rank down ticket

Cause i dont want to have 2 copies of them ranked up? For me its useless. I'll take the 6* Rank Up gem but i will not give it to someone whom I have as max 5*.

So instead of getting a new rank UP ticket, you want it replaced with a rank DOWN ticket so you can rank DOWN duplicate champions, all so you can then rank UP someone else? Why don't you just use the rank UP ticket that we are already given on a new character? What's the difference? You're just adding more steps and losing a r5 in the process...

That's why you do rankups wisely.
Beacuse if you really require or love some Champions ability, it won't hurt even if you are getting 6* version of him.

Example-
Getting two versions of Human Torch, Nick Fury, and my other favourite champs will never be problem for me, and I would love to get another higher version of them.

Don't rush for rankings dude.
Choose wisely...

Rank up resources are infinite in this game. There's nothing wrong with investing resources in the same champion of different rarities. Rank down tickets ruin the aspect of the game of getting resources. The last thing we need in this game is the ability to rank down champions.

Hey @jepoyDR028, we've already stated in the Forum FAQs that we don't have any plans to bring back Rank Down Tickets. However, if we change our minds about that in the future, we'll be sure to let you all know!
