I told my alliance that , I choice not to play Alliance war due to the use of the word War, with the current state of the world , feel that using the name , war glorify and desensitize, what is happening in Ukraine. I having serious pstd issues when come to the use of the word , in a game. When I was a kid the stop selling toy soldiers and I think we need to stop using the term war. I can see on the game screen that I defeated the final boss Kyiv.

i genuinely don't know what to say to this. if you're feeling any sort of ptsd issues, please find a therapist or mental health professional, and i recommend you to not play the game. if this is really a problem for you, get the help that you need

The game isn't going to change because of the word alliance war. If you have an emotional attachment to not play alliance wars just find an ally that doesnt do them, Weird problem, but simple solution.

That is like saying you are never going to use an awakening gem on any of your champs because they would be at sig 1, There was a World war 1 so it causes me problems so I refuse to do it. Take a break from the game and ask someone like a friend or therapist for help.

I do feel like they should remove attacker and defender kills, and replace it with attacker and defender knockouts

I appreciate that it's a sensitive subject at the moment and I have experience with PTSD. Try to remember it's only a game, and it's not meant to disrespect any current events going on in the world. If you feel overwhelmed, by all means take a break, and if you need help, don't be afraid to seek outside help for your issues.

I sympathize but words have different meanings in different contexts. As horrible as actual war is, and as much as I am opposed to the current actions of Russia, no one is being desensitized by playing Alliance War into thinking war might be OK or killing is fine because of in-game kills.

I understand why this might be hard for some, especially given real-world events right now, and I implore each and every one of us to make sure that we are doing what we need to do to take care of ourselves. If this means taking a break from a game mode, then you should do it. At this time, we don't have plans to change the name of the mode.
