Alliance War Season 46 Update
Foreword
Welcome back to another season of Alliance War! There are some massive changes upcoming in Alliance War for the end of the year and we are excited to finally share what we’ve been cooking up behind the scenes. To start off with, we finally set some time aside to improve the player experience within Platinum and Gold Tiers by adding additional tiers so any match won or lost is impactful, but we also took a swing at improving rewards within the mode itself. Not only did Season Rewards get a massive tune up, but we’ve also added in some new reward schemes per fight within Alliance War. Read on to find out what we’ve been cooking.

Tier and Rewards Changes
We recognize that within the higher tiers of play, movement between different ranks can be difficult, especially towards the end of a season where players who want to push for higher ranks have a difficult time of doing so due to the amount of players within their respective placement. To combat this, and to incentivize players who want to push their Alliance War teams to the limit, we have increased the ranks within Platinum and Gold to give players a chance to push themselves within the Alliance War Experience.
So with the new Tier Changes, Platinum has been expanded into this…
Platinum 1 (#21 - #50)
Platinum 2 (#51 - #100)
Platinum 3 (#101 - #300)
Platinum 4 (#301 - #500)
Platinum 5 (#501 - #700)
Platinum 6 (#701 - #900)
Gold Players will also get additional ranks to allow them to move up within tiers throughout the Alliance War cycle.
Gold 1 (#901 - 1,200)
Gold 2 (#1,201 - 1,500)
Gold 3 (#1,501 - 2,000)
Gold 4 (#2,001 - 3,000)
Gold 5 (#3,001 - 4,000)
Gold 6 (#4,001 - 5,000)
Rewards Update
And with a tier shakeup, we’ll see a reward update as well! The game moves fast, and to allow Alliance War to be one of the premier modes to get your rank up materials from, we have injected some face lifts to the reward structure to accommodate the new tiers added into both Platinum and Gold. Listed by tier, here are the new items we are injecting into each tier.

Per Fight and Loyalty Tweaks
In addition to all of this, we have taken a look at the per fight and per win rewards within Alliance War and have decided to inject 7 Star Hero Crystal Shards, increase the yield of 6 Star Hero Crystal Shards, as well as more 5 Star Hero Crystal Shards into Alliance War for the winners. The yield you receive for each of these wins increase the more Battlegroups you are able to field during Alliance War.
We also decided to reward players who take on more fights in an Alliance War than usual. For each fight the player takes on and wins, they will receive Additional Loyalty as a result. This Loyalty Reward for taking on Fights will increase the more Battlegroups the Alliance Fields. So get your groups together and take on other Alliances in the high stakes, competitive Alliance War! Check out the full breakdown below.
Fixing the Alliance Solo Event!
Ever since we introduced the Alliance War Persistent Placement Phase, there were some teething issues with how our Solo Event was interacting with Defense Placement. We have since remedied this issue, and now will be putting the “Defense Placement” points back in to allow players to experience working with Persistent Placement, as well as earn points towards rewards found in the Solo Event!
Defense Tactic Tuning
Now that we have a large assortment of tactics under our belt, we are going back through older ones and giving them a modern facelift! “Crush” is the first tactic to receive this treatment. So in future seasons, expect some familiar challenges, with an updated pool, and a new twist! We won’t be stubborn in choosing the release order of these tactics, so look forward to our bi-seasonal updates to see what’s returning next!
New season, and a new round of meta defining Defense Tactics that will surely give some onus to some real scary Defenders lurking around the Battlerealm, including the venerable Onslaught who will be a menace in the Battlerealm! This Defensive Tactic will focus on the Mutant and Science Defenders in the base pool, with the list below. In the Attack Tactic, we’ll be focusing on Tech and Science.Defense
Crush 2.0
- Crush 2.0 - 1:
- When #Crush Defenders gain a Bar of Power, they inflict 2 separate 15% potency Daunted Passives for 25 seconds. Max stacks: 12. While the Attacker is suffering from 8 or more Daunted effects during the Defender's Special Attacks, they are Passively Rooted. Rooted Attackers can not Evade. #Crush Defenders' Special Attacks have a 8% chance per Daunted effect on the Attacker to be Passively Unblockable, except against Well-Timed Blocks. These abilities can't be affected by Ability Accuracy.
- Crush 2.0 - 2:
- When #Crush Defenders gain a Bar of Power, they inflict 2 separate 15% potency Daunted Passives for 25 seconds. Max stacks: 12. While the Attacker is suffering from 6 or more Daunted effects during the Defender's Special Attacks, they are Passively Rooted. Rooted Attackers can not Evade. #Crush Defenders' Special Attacks have a 10% chance per Daunted effect on the Attacker to be Passively Unblockable, except against Well-Timed Blocks. These abilities can't be affected by Ability Accuracy.
- Crush 2.0 - 3:
- When #Crush Defenders gain a Bar of Power, they inflict 2 separate 15% potency Daunted Passives for 25 seconds. Max stacks: 12. While the Attacker is suffering from 2 or more Daunted effects during the Defender's Special Attacks, they are Passively Rooted. Rooted Attackers can not Evade. #Crush Defenders' Special Attacks have a 20% chance per Daunted effect on the Attacker to be Passively Unblockable, except against Well-Timed Blocks. These abilities can't be affected by Ability Accuracy.
Attack
Sturdy
When #Sturdy Attackers Intercept or hit the Opponent while they're Dodging back, they inflict a 30% Taunt Passive for 6 seconds, paused during the Opponent's Special Attacks. If the Defender activates a Special Attack while this Taunt is active, they lose any remaining Power. When #Sturdy Attackers reduce the Defender's Power to 0% while this Taunt is active, they gain a Steadfast Passive for 10 seconds.
