The 2-day Road To Valiant for a Humble Thronebreaker

I felt like sharing an accomplishment my alt was able to make these past 2 days. My alt was halfway through 7.4 and I was bored so I decided that I would finally push it to Valiant now that it is easier than ever.
Superior kang was no issue at all for my 6r4a Sersi and Medusa.

I did need to r4 my 6* Shuri as well to actually get the paragon title, but that was easy enough to do. Then the real fun began because the title of paragon unlocks epoch which gives a r3 gem, r2 gem, 4 t6cc, and 3 t3a. This means you get a r3 and to get a second r3 you need the resources for another r2, 1 t6cc, and 5 t5cc. Fortunately, Isophyne was already r2 on my account thanks to banquet. Epoch was actually pretty simple all thigs considered. My alt has titania and iron heart as 7*s so path 2 made the most sense. Pretty sure I used 7 revives to get through the path and only about 9 revives + 3 team revives on Ares. This was really light considering I grabbed the 7.2 potion package in anticipation of doing necro for a r3.

The hardest part was getting 5 more t5cc because I already needed 2 for Shuri, but fortunately I only had to pay 300 units to get the last t5cc I needed to r3 Iron Heart. With that, I now had r3 Isophyne and Iron Heart and was ready to tackle act 8.
Act 8 is annoying because my roster is fairly limited, but scythalis is still easy, and I finished yesterday getting halfway through 8.2. Today I got through the rest of 8.2 and some of those fights were really long and boring. The worst fight was Bahamet because my only counter was a r5 5* Chee'ilth. She died and then Iron heart had to do the last 40% of Bahamet's health.

That last 40% took forever.
Getting to 8.3 reminded me of how awful it is to get relics. I have 0 mystic relics on this account in spite of having about 21 relics. I do have 6 or 7 mutant relics in spite of my best mutant being a 5r4 bishop. The relic economy should really be retuned because getting half a 3* relic in BG store weekly is laughable.
Tangent aside, the last obstacle was Cerastes and fortunately I have a lot of experience of fighting him with Sersi, so he was really no issue.

The best part of getting Valiant is I could finally level up from level 42 thanks to the refined XP in epoch.

I kinda want to never use energy again on the account and just keep that energy as a trophy.
