So hows the boycott going? The Next big sale was a plan for people to spend <3 of fire deals

kabam prob was like yea...we are going to make them spend before july 4, by releasing this type of event again, just like omega days.

Seeing how the champions from omega days arent in basic pool, and was only availably with offers last couple months, could possibly join the basic pool.

But seeing that cadence and all, they could repeat the sale in the next 10 months, so seeing next month is probaply the best chance to get these champions.

are you planning on trying to get 7* nick fury and the rest?

I have over 100k units myself so i will be ready to pick up the units deals and possibly cash deals.

but so much for the boycott right?

Your 100k units won't get you anything from spring cleaning if they follow the same format as last year.

Spring cleaning is a money event where you spend money for stuff and units. Then Omega days is there afterwards to drain your units that you got from spring cleaning. You will get stuff from the new Omega days with your units. It'll probably be in the format of the last recent event they had of the Omega days champions.

So… I’ve been in a prove it mentality… and it feels like they have been putting in more effort in a number of areas…. So good Will is being earned back.

-communications are much more active
-we just had a new release that seemingly only fixed bugs without creating new laughable bugs.
-BGs got a quick rewards buff, and there’s active communication about what’s coming
-a very good response to the nightmare raids

I’m getting more optimistic but have seen this all before in the cycle of the community getting upset, being addressed, then being ignored. So im still waiting myself, but definitely see myself investing units in the Heart of Fire event.

The boycott was a fabrication, just as every boycott that has been mentioned before this one had been. Always done in between major events where spending is at a minimum. Given the time it takes to adjust game economy and create events, I have a hard time believing Kabam suddenly made changes and had everything planned out in the span of a week.

With that said, it doesn't really matter as long as changes are being made. April is shaping out to be a pretty big month. Most of us want to see this game succeed, especially with the amount we all have invested in it over the years.

I just make my own decisions based on what the deals are, how I'm feeling financially, and how I'm feeling about the game overall on a personal level.

I put my spending on pause and I won't change that until I see the changes. All I got so far is promises of changes.
Let's be honest we got excited about the sigil overhaul and I find it to be horrible and not worthy, so I am not gonna change my mind with just promises.

I’m taking about heart of fire event, looking similar to omega days unit deals and it’s still a sale just couple months before July
4.

They know there’s a boycott and know a lot people spent $500 to get bastion and will certainly hyped up heart of fire event by releasing the best if not top 3 skill champions as a 7*.

I don't see a valid reason to spend on this game these days. Either you whale out or you're left behind anyways. It's a sale fest all year long lol.

Heart of Fire can have CGR, Nick, Hulkling and Kate Bishop added and I would still not care one bit.

Hopefully we can make a real difference this time that is long lasting and consistent. Got some plans here on my team to change a few things and of course do our best, but most importantly to keep improving. Feedback helps!

Thats how usually how games in mobile die in general if people don’t spend.

Look at what happen to realm of champions, transformers forge to fight and even Disney verse.

Why fund a game whens its not making money? At the end of it’s a business. I’m just suprised the game is running 10+ years with plans to have this game running for the next 10 years.

Most players find him not valuable at all unless awakened and a smaller subset of those players still find him useless unless hes sig 200.

Me personally I have 2 7* skill ag and haven't had a reason to even plan to use one until this announcement

Some of these comments lol what exactly did you guys expect? The boycott started cause of BGs and Raids, they sent massive comp for one and announced the changes being made for the next cycle, then laid out an entire timeline full of changes planned for the other one for the rest of the year, of course the boycott is over they already got what they wanted. Has nothing to do with this upcoming big sale, if anything they saved the big sale by announcing everything and communicating like they should've been doing before the boycott even happened.
