Well done for capturing it, that's proof right there. I've personally never experienced this, but I use an iPad Pro and an iPhone 7. I think this might be a device-specific issue, but nobody can deny it exists now. I recommend detailing the device and OS version you're using, so that the team have all the information.
So what you're saying is that your playing style was already to release your blocks in middle of opponents combo and get stuck in mud instead of using evade? That's the only way somebody could think this game is working properly... I swear this forum is flooded with trolls payed by kabam.
Thank you for this video. We didn't need "proof" as we have been looking into this already. Unfortunately, this video doesn't actually give us much information. What we need is more information on your device, if you have the ability to give us that.
Model Number is a great start, but also things like, what settings you have enabled (are there any power saving settings on? Do you have "game settings" on your device?), how long you had been playing, what else was happening in the background on your device when this happened, etc.
I've passed this video on to the team as well.
iphone 6s.
iPhone X, latest everything, zero background applications. No browser, no Game Center, no downloads, no IM apps, no mail. Just nada, zip, zilch. On my home 5G connection. At office earlier, 2.4 connection, same ****.
These exact issues are also happening for me. Why is this so hard for KABAM to figure out? It's a direct function of the AI changes that you have implemented over the last several updates.
@Kabam Miike
Device: Samsung Galaxy S8+
Carrier: Verizon
OS: Android 8.0 Oreo
Connection: WiFi & 4G Data
Details: I never have any other apps open while playing. I've deleted the mcoc app, re-installed, cleared cache.
I've been playing this game for 2 years, I am uncollected, I am skilled I know what i'm doing in this game if that's why you asked. I'm very familiar with the mechanics of the game. I've had my phone for over 1 year and this game has worked just fine up until this late update. I have had this issue before, but went away pretty quickly. With the last update, this happens daily, almost every fight.
This has happened to me 20 times in the past few days, sometimes when in the middle of a combo but mostly when trying to start a combo with a forward dash.
I'm curious as to what you're implying with "we didn't need "proof"....." Kabam Wolf in a response requested that folks post ANY videos people might have on this. Has posting video changed from being a necessity to investigate to more of an "annoyance"?
Also, maybe it's just me, but this whole "give us your device information" merry go round has been worn out. Wouldn't it side with professionalism if your team investigated from their side(beginning with program engineering) a test pool of the most popular/most sold models across carriers that are capable of running the game as opposed to trying to "isolate" the issue onto a handful of models that get reported on the forums?
I'm sorry but TBQH, since I've joined in the forum discussions last year, the majority of responses and communication or lack there of is more akin to a "garage based app developer" than a reputable multi million dollar company.
Seriously? Why are you being rude saying "We didn't need proof?" That's a new low. Its gone from asking for device information to asking about power saving & other settings... Don't try shift the blame to us, we're not delusional. Accept that there is a Massive problem on your side and fix it.
• Used Doctor Voodoo
• Am on iPhone X, latest everything
• Never use power saving settings, nor game setting, nor game center
• Phone had 98 % charge
• It felt cool to the touch
• Room temperature was comfy, probably around 20 degrees Celsius (~68 F)
• I had zero applications running
• I just restarted MCOC, so it was the first fight
• I had no outstanding help requests
• I sat at my desk, which is made out of wood and a bit egg-shaped
• There was a small statue of Jesus on said desk, smiling beatifically
• I drank a double espresso (one sugar) (yes, I stirred)
• There were three sansevieria in the room, in pots of varying sizes
• I had not watered them this morning
• My last call was from a client, who wanted me to fix something
• I fixed it (postponing my gameplay by roughly 20 minutes)
• I had three browser windows open on my PC. None of which of a sexual nature.
• I was listening to The XX
• The song was ‘Dangerous’, which, in hindsight, might have been pushing it
• Earlier, I had yogurt for breakfast, Greek style
• One of my toenails was slightly chipped. I do not know the exact cause.
• Two of my fingernails were painted (by my three year old daughter), awkwardly
• There were no sirens going off in the immediate vicinity
• Around halfway through the fight, a car drove by (didn’t get make or number)
• I used deodorant in the morning and had brushed my teeth
• I wasn’t hungry, although I did contemplate having a croissant
• I was wearing a vintage Seiko watch from 1968
• My stapler had exactly 12 staples in it (I counted them twice to be sure)
