We want to alert you all that as of July 3rd, we will no longer be supporting iOS 7.
As The Contest continues to develop and grow, it ultimately outgrows the limitations of older devices and operating systems. While we continuously make every effort we can to ensure that the greatest range of Devices and Operating Systems can effectively run Marvel Contest of Champions, we do eventually hit a point where some older operating systems simply cannot be supported.
To ensure that you do not suffer from any lost play time, if it is possible, please update to the latest iOS version available for your device prior to July 3rd.
If that is not an option, we want you to be able to continue your journey in The Battlerealm when it is possible for you to upgrade to a supported device. Please ensure that you have registered or linked your account to a Kabam ID before July 3rd. This will ensure that your account will remain safe and active until you can log back in with any device using a supported OS.
We assure you all that we do not take actions like this unless it is absolutely necessary, and as the game continues to grow and evolve, we may need to discontinue support for more operating systems or devices that are simply no longer able to handle the game. This is an unavoidable part of the lifecycle of devices that even the manufacturers cannot avoid, as they also eventually must stop support for their own products.
