Please Fix Carnage

I know their are many problems in this game, but carnage is terrible I recently came back to the game to find a hyped character is not even useful...you can do better Kabam. I just paid 30.00 for a character that is going to gather dust.

    Would love to see them address this in 15.0, even if only slight adjustments to make him relevant. Increased base stats (in line with the rest of the roster) and bleed on sp1 and sp2 (10 sec each?) would make a big difference.

    Oh yeh, Carnage don't have any usage on the game today.
    He can have a little buff for sure. It will be nice.

    In the champion spotlight Miike said the devs were going to look at him. Unfortunately it's not going to be a quick fix

    I saw that as well, but I'll likely comment on all Carnage threads I see to make sure the topic stays current :)

    He's pretty underwhelming. Such a desired champ with great gameplay that hits like a toddler. A swing and a miss.

    I do think they will come out with a fix, if anything at least make the timer a lot shorter or get rid of the timer all together, really no point in it. But since you have to use a special to keep the buff it makes him very limited. Venom gets buffs periodically, same with venompool. Why not make the defensive block hold 2 second timer to keep that buff. It can be a pretty simple fix to make him good.

    Oh and increase his bleed. He should be a top bleeder in the game.

    They completely miss Carnage in this Game, just his animations are good.
    The skills, time to building him, 3* base stats, laughable bleed, worst villain victory pose (same as Cap), it's just a mess from the dev team.
    And Miike said he is good in long fights :)
    Well, I try to keep positive, but, looks like they don't give any attention to this.

    Honestly what I would do is:

    increase his base stats

    Make his mini bleeds chance on hit/crit

    Have his specials add a longer bleed

    Change his sig to steal a % of the bleeds on enemies as health and energy.
    The more bleeds the more you steal.

    This would allow you to play him aggressively, reducing the number of specials you need to bait. And grant some longevity on the longer fights he, supposedly, is designed for.

    He'll still be countered by bleed immune and dispel champs. I think this would make him fun to play without being op.

    The buffs can stay the same, as they will be a bonus, similar to SLs combos. Most fights you only get to 1-3 buffs anyway.

    Add me to the "wish carnage was better" crowd.

    I did the arena grind for his 3* because I like getting new champs. Ranked him a little and was quickly disappointed with his stats. Then got him in an offer last night (4*). I really want to rank him up because he definitely has the cool factor, but at this point is only really good as another arena grinder...

    I think the mini bleeds are good. It encourages being agressive. They can stil stack off each other but have short durations.

    But I definately agree his specials should do good longer bleeds and be the main focus.

    Meh i just got him as a 2* and from what I experienced in the arena and quest he has pillow hands.

    In the arena it took awhile to kill someone then I put him in the first Spider-Man timed event quest and fought and iron man and well I'm extremely disappointed by his damage output.

    It took me 98 hits to kill my enemy which is just laughable, and multiple times that took over 50 hits I've never seen that before.

    Kabam says he gets better the longer you fights, that's bs, I don't see any use for him at all and knew he was bad from, fighting him, seeing friends, videos, alliance members etc.

    I was hoping he was going to be in the game and now I wish he wasnt, I've been really bumbed out about what they did to him.

    It has been confirmed by Kabam Miike that the game team is looking into fixing him up a bit, but we didnt get a time or buff release. It was confirmed not to be 14.0 but some expect he could get his upgrade in 15.0 and I believe we wont see Carnage at his potential until 16.0-17.0, so September or October maybe.

    Thank you for the feedback on Carnage. Like we have said before, we will take a look at him, but it won't be any time in the immediate future. We're seeing lots of cool suggestions, and I'll make sure the team looks at them.

    Since we have addressed this many times, and there is no more to add at this time, we're going to close this thread down.
