algorithms and transparency

Over the course of my time playing I have noticed some specific and reoccurring drop rates, and I have a question I would like to see answered. While Kabam has been transparent in giving drop rates for crystals, is it possible that there are non-transparent algorithms inside those drop rates? For instance, Crystal Z has a drop rate of
5% 5* hulk
15% 5*
80% 4*
I’m
Wondering within that 15% 5* for example if there is an algorithm say champs A,B, and C have drop rates of 75% champ F has a drop rate of 5% and all other champs drop rate is 20%. Is this possible? It would explain a lot of “coincidences”.

Are you talking about the monthly login crystal?
Not really. There are so many crystal openings streamed on Youtube (streamed is important, because those cannot be artificially selected to cherry pick certain kinds of openings) that a specific champion or set of champions cannot be strongly biased in that way. The only possibility that isn't directly contradicted by the facts is that crystals are strongly biased, but they are biased in a different way for different players and the bias disappears if the crystal openings are recorded. But that's way out past tin-foil hat land and into cloud cuckoo land.
Those drop rates aren't required by Apple. The featured champ has a different rate but all others have a equal chance. Only featured have a individual drop rate.
Besides, even if they listed each champ out for the chance they have (they all have equal chances) the community still wouldnt be happy. If the same scenario happen where you pull 2 KK's from 2 crystals, you still wouldn't believe they are equal. Drop rates are fine as is.
Many companies have taken the same approach as Kabam, to only specific rarity tiers and not explicitly list the drop odds of literally every single possible result, especially when those statistics are identical within the tier and it would be patently ridiculous to list them all in-line.
Miike has said repeatedly that they are equal. Miike talks with the game teams constantly. They are showing exactly what they are required to show.
Truthfully, people like you won't believe it even it said it each had a (x)% because if you opened 2 crystals and got a "trash" champ, you'd say the drop rates aren't real blah, blah, blah. The real fact is, the current drop rate meets the requirements. It's a 5* Crystal and it has a 100% chance to drop a 5* champion.
With that being said, I'll go ahead and close this discussion.
