  • That's exactly what I got last month, with nothing mentioned on the forum and no help from support to actually change anything. This, for me, is the most frustrating thing. They're not even working to understand the problem. The undo button didn't send us down the wrong path, and I doubt it's acting faulty when we can't go…
  • For my part, I think you shouldn't consider risk as mandatory in end game content, but as one of your levers to adjust how end game content lands. You can diversify the level of risk to diversify the kind of enjoyment the players get from the content. Learning how to defeat a hard mechanic is fun even if there's…
  • This bug was fixed for me after Miike posted saying it was fixed. It was not fixed for one of my alliance-mates. He had to uninstall and reinstall the entire app, and then he was able to do damage. For anybody still experiencing this and wanting to troubleshoot on your own, you could give that a try.
  • @POOKYman I went back and forth with support over about 10 emails last month and got absolutely nowhere with them. I asked for general fixes, I asked for specific fixes, I asked for options. Eventually they just closed the ticket. I have no faith in getting relief for this. At least this month I was able to go down the…
  • It's woe all winter in this game, friend.
  • I'm using Kitty with Prowess Ender against Thanos and also gaining just one charge per prompt despite having both Kitty's prowess and prowess from the node active.
  • No. My lane was the most successful, but we really could have used a back up on one of the other lanes. We couldn't do that because we were basically playing with 9 attackers and one of our lanes had a couple weaker players. We intended for them to have help, but then couldn't give it to them.
  • Looks like this is back again and went unaddressed after our issues last month: https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/360588/alliance-raid-problem-cant-choose-assault/p1
  • This happened to a few of us last month and they completely ignored us: https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/comment/2463713 Support stopped responding to me and refused to do anything to fix it.
  • @SummonerNR Here's what happened to me The two alliance mates I was going to work with had both gone in and done a fight to build charges. I was the third person up in the rotation of vanguard, tactician, assault. I entered the quest with Storm PX and took the path to the left, which took me to the fork before Thanos. When…
  • @SJP_7 I'm still trying to plead with Support to do anything to help, but I feel like I'm going to have to go in without a tactic also. I assume that the biggest hinderance is that building the 50 charges to complete a mission takes forever, so progress is super slow. Is that about right? Are there other problems with…
  • This same thing is happening to me. I picked an Assault champ and I’m getting directed to the Vanguard lane. Support is unable or unwilling to move me to the correct path or back me out so I can enter again. This is incredibly frustrating, especially with the crazy glory that’s coming in. I see my alliance mates getting…
  • Does this mean that the internal conversation has ended and this is the final decision? If so, that’s incredibly unfortunate. This was an easy place to make the right decision and leave Moleman as he was. Can you explain why Kabam decided on this course of action against the near universal request from the players to leave…
  • Again, adding my voice to the fray that this is a terrible change. He should have been left as-is. Please revert Moleman to his post-buff, pre-fix state.
  • It would be a really good move for you guys to finish your internal discussion on this issue and come to a decision before implementing the proposed fix, if that ends up being your decision. Rubber banding players on a champion's abilities is incredibly frustrating, even if you do end up taking the more player-friendly…
  • Honestly, we’re hitting some criteria here where the change that’s made should always be the player friendly outcome. Has the behavior and description mismatch been in-game since the character’s release/buff? Was that longer than 6 months ago (or some other reasonable time frame)? Has Kabam failed to comment on the…
  • https://youtu.be/Tp4W8wIHXA8 I’d like to know why, when Symbiote Supreme had a year-long mismatch between his description and his actual functionality, a mistake that he was launched with, the description was changed rather than the ability. But in the case of MM, the ability was changed. The cases are nearly identical,…
  • I just want to add another voice to the fray saying that this change sucks. The arguments are largely laid out here for why, so I’m not going to retread them. But I do hope Kabam makes the right, player-friendly decision and pulls this change from this update or reverts it in the next update. This is awful.
  • Yes, I'm also seeing this. My roster in beta is from late October 2021, sometime between 10/16 and 10/30. It's definitely going to make 8.1 feel a lot harder than it should with my current roster, since it grew a lot in the last 6 months with cyber weekend, Christmas, and exploring Act 7.
  • Each opening does have the same probability as the previous opening. If certain champs are weighted, it's never been demonstrated, at least as far as I know. If it has been demonstrated, post it up. Read back to DNA's post on RNG implementation. It's not an area I know a ton about, but my understanding is very much that…
  • Hang on, I believe I just committed the same error that we've been chastising Glads for, and calculated the probability of getting 3 Hercs in a row, not of getting 3 of any champ in a row. It should be 62.75 much smaller denominations.
  • I don't want to ruin the math for whomever comes along next, so I'll just say that it's about 15.69 alots.
  • At least the Monty Hall discussion is friendly learning and not overly laden by conspiracy theories with no support. So that's pretty cool.
  • I’m just here because math is fun and this game has a little of it.
  • I see what you're saying here, but this is a different scenario than the Monty Hall Problem. In your scenario, you've brought the options down to 2 doors by the random choices of the contestants who don't know where the car is. In 98 out of 100 shows, the 99th person doesn't even get to guess. The crux of the Monty Hall…
  • I'm sure somebody has put together a model for a weighted version of the birthday problem, and I invite you to go find that formula and share it here if you want to make your case. That said, if you're talking about the event cavs, then I suspect the odds of pulling the same champ over multiple pulls is actually quite a…
  • I always have to remind myself that the people who say things like that, without being able to reference what math they’re using or walking you through it, are the same people who protested, “when am I going to need this!” from the back of class. They’re relying on how intuitive the result feels because they weren’t…
  • Using this calculator, https://www.dcode.fr/birthday-problem Inputting a pool of 250, and a stack of 10 openings, you get a probability of .1667 of getting a dupe. Basically the same as rolling a die and getting a specific number. You seeing it every other week is probably right on point. You seeing it in your alliance…
  • Hang on, now you’re talking about something different: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birthday_problem Except the pool of champs is smaller than dates in the year, so the probability of finding a pair will be even higher in a given group size.
  • This literally just happened to me yesterday with the new Cav event crystals. I pulled 6* NT from my first Metal crystal, and 6* Purgatory from my first Women crystal. I’ve never pulled consecutive 6* champs, and my roster is reasonable large. These are low probability events, either happening a handful of times or not…
