What am I complaining about? I'm just telling people 5 sigs are back and making a couple of jokes. Why are some players so emotionally fragile over random aspects of the game?
-
I'm sure the complainers will move on to the next complaint. Maybe about how they can't trade T2As for 7R4 gems.
-
Haha, this whole thread is like the twilight zone.
-
If the game is so bad and dying, it's impressive how much time and energy you still put into playing and posting about it.
-
I think it would be pretty straightforward for Kabam to implement mode-specific UI elements and logic to remove the pause button from BG without having it affect anything else. They just have decided that it's worthwhile to keep it, I assume for many of the legitimate reasons you laid out in your post.
-
No, I meant actual cheaters; I wasn't saying pausers are cheaters. I meant people who use mods and the like. Whether I run into someone who pauses on purpose, or even someone who actually cheats, it makes me sad for them rather than angry. The whole enjoyment of this game for me is the challenge, which includes losing, and…
-
You're right, poor choice of words on my part. I just meant I don't get angry about it, I just find it sad (mostly talking about the cheating here).
-
I've lost 2 rounds to a pauser at least a few times in my 8 months of playing this game. Sometimes because I sucked, sometimes because of external issues (gameplay issues, distractions, etc.). I didn't get upset that they were pausing. I just play to play and learn and improve, I don't really care whether an opponent…
-
Why would they pause if they were tanking? Wouldn't they just let themselves get killed quickly?
-
Don't use Torch against Serpent in the current BG season unless you're aiming for a ceiling of 30-35k score.
-
What don't you like about him OP? How he can end most fights in 40 seconds by stun-locking the opponent and pounding them into the dirt?
-
There was a thread here or on reddit complaining about an alleged AI glitch with intercepts, but the video posted by the OP just showed him dashing into the ether without any set-up and getting easily countered by the AI who was just sitting back and waiting. Most of the comments were agreeing that this was Kabam's fault…
-
Yeah I don't get the "live footage" comment. I've definitely gotten worked by Enchantress at times, and weird things happen, but baiting and punishing heavy, knocking her down, then taking her out with like a Hulk stun-lock or a big SP2 from another science champ has a high chance of 47-50k score.
-
I don't understand. There's definitely enough mats in 8 and 9.1 to get two 7R3s. And you finished those with 6s and 5s, and got some more 6s and 7s along the way now. So what's the problem again? You can totally become Valiant with little effort if what you say is true. Or are you saying you Herc'd your way through 8 and…
-
He was my first ascended 5*. Not the best, but fun to play, and some niche utilities in the right matchups. Don't sleep on his anti-evade buff or crazy regen from om nom-ing armor ups.
-
Congrats! Act 6 was the only time during which I deleted this game off my phone. No similar frustrations going through 7, 8, and 9.1, so you've already made it through the hard part, especially because now your roster will start rapidly improving whereas most people battling through Act 6 are somewhat limited.
-
Yes, definitely. I just wrote that as a basic overview of the dynamics at play. How we apply it to our deck management and then draft selection is where the fun starts, or pain I guess, depending on your perspective.
-
Maybe it did not make the discussion any better, or maybe it went against the grain of an echo chamber in the thread. It's probably better to just judge the posts on their substance instead of the reaction votes.
-
Well #Decay attackers will only mitigate the hazard damage if they're facing #Sugar Pill defenders or can inflict a lot of debuffs on their own (i.e., not from the sugar pills). So, for example, Photon will be fine against any defender, but if like Hulk is facing a non-#Sugar Pill defender, then he will take hazard damage…
-
Agree 100%. His sig ability is arguably as important as anyone's at the moment. He's a monster on D, but the more I use him as an attacker the more I'm impressed. He's cleared entire paths in Acts 8 & 9.1 for me. Not the fastest at what he does because of the ramp up time, especially against non-mutants, but very reliable…
-
Cool, thanks for the link. I watched some of the stream, very nice.
-
It's a nice gesture, but I think OP is just venting. Every 5 years he gets pissed about a specific node:
-
You need to ramp up Sentry and then send him into BG.
-
So just thinking about this some more (which is a win for me by itself, since I usually don't think). We want #Decay attackers against #Sugar Pill defenders. We want debuff-heavy #Decay attackers against non-#Sugar Pill defenders. Otherwise we want non-#Decay but Poison/Incinerate Immune attackers against any defenders,…
-
How about no nodes and no actual fighting. You can just compare stats to see who wins, like Pokemon.
-
Cool, thanks.
-
Jack was a good call obviously, but man, that 7 Void is calling to me. How did you get him if I may ask? I don't think he's in any of the current crystals?
-
Yeah I feel the same way. The matches I win are usually somewhat ugly. The matches I lose are really ugly. What's the current GC nodes if you know?
-
Don't read anything into it. People don't only click disagree because they actually disagree with what you're saying. A lot of times their "disagree" means "I'm jealous," or "I'm lonely," or "I'm hungry."
-
This is very true. A buddy of mine once got arrested and went with the court-appointed Land Rover Defender. Always, always hire your own private attorney.
