This happened to my alliance too, we were in T2 and went down to T3 even when we won almost every one of the wars on the off season.

I think the number one option is definitely Hercules, he's amazing and the awakening is pivotal for him, although I would recommend to sign him up because he gain even more awesomeness haha Nick Fury it's a great option too, because that second life + attack is nuts. Don't overlook Vision, Guillotine and Sabertooth, they can be very useful.

If I'm not incorrect, a couple months ago they tried to improve arena but when they push the "update" the game broke so they have to reverse the change and that's why everything is still the same 😅
